I continued tucking tops through day 13F, at which time I decided the canopy was as full as I wanted it to be, and it was a nice and even height across and under the light. I also wanted to let the tops stretch a few inches over the net so the buds have somewhere to develop and not get squished in the net.
I decided to turn up the light a bit today (day 15F) for the first time in a while, increasing the PPFD from about 600 to 750-800. I should have plenty of height in the tent and will let the canopy grow back up to the recommended 11” under the light. I raised the light to lower the PPFD while the plants get used to the brighter intensity.
Plants take less water than the single 5 gal did in my last grow, but they’re getting thirstier since I flipped them. I will clean them up next week, and plan to remove the lower cruft that didn’t make it to the canopy and will open up the fab leaves as necessary to allow air flow.
