Welcome to a new journey. I am happy that you are reading this. This time, I will grow Solomatic CBD, a very intersting pure CDB strain. I put the seed in a wet paper towel in a plastic bag and after two days I planted it into a jiffey.
Update 21/8 (Day 3): I planted the seedling into her final 11 l standard pot. I filled the pot with Aldi Bio soil and on top I put Plantura herb soil which is less fertilized; i also added some Dynomyco Mycorrhizal, as always. For the next days, I will put her into the basement under the SanLight with 40% on 18-6.
Solomatic CBD is striving in the warm basement under the SanLight EVO 3-80 at 40%. I see a little progress every day. In the next week, I will put her outside for a few hours into the sunshine.
The seedling is striving in the warm basement under the SanLight at 40% for 18 hours. The conditions are ideal. The girl already has several new nodes. I have never seen such rapid growth at the beginning of the vegetative phase. But there are also the first gnats showing up, although I used new soil. I will probably buy some new SF Nematodes to prevent a plague.
Solomatic CBD is growing nicely in the basement. Everything looks perfect, except for the gnats that become more every day. I ordered SF Nematodes as capsules (already applied) and living (delivery probably on Thursday) and hope to solve to problem by next Sunday.
Solomatic CBD is growing like crazy, more than doubling in size in the last week. I did not add any fertilizer to the Aldi Bio soil, yet. The SF Nematodes did their job, only a few gnats are flying around. Preflowering has started.
Solomactic CBD is marching on. She has started flowering and made another jump to 57cm. I still did not feed any nutrients, just the Aldi Bio soil, in which she was planted. Some leaves are slightly curled and dark green, which hints at too much nitrogen, but I will just ignore that. The same is true for the few gnats, against which I used some more SF nematodes. She usually is in the basement, but I allowed her two sunny days this week. Today will be probably the last day, on which I can put her outside, so I hope she enjoys it.
Solomatic CBD made her flower stretch of 20cm. She looks healthy and is developing really quickly. I started to support her bud building with Plagron Alga Bloom.
The lady has stopped growing and is now working on her buds. This is a totally easy grow. She is taking care of herself and I only have to give her water and Alga Bloom every three days.
The buds continue to fatten nicely. I was away for the week and my son inadvertently gave her mineral bloom fertilizer (NPK 4-8-10) instead of Alga Bloom, which did not hurt. I will continue to do this for this and next week. Then I plan to harvest.
We have reached 10 weeks and the lady is in the final weeks of her life. I feeded her with either Alga Bloom or Wuxal Blütenpracht (NPK 5-8-10). I will look at the trichoms later this week and decide when to stop giving her nutrients.
Solomatic CBD is almost ready. The bud to leave ratio is fine and I am looking forward to a nice harvest with not a lot of trimming. I am really curious about the taste and effects. My wife is a regular consumer of CBD oil; I am sure this will make her happy :-)
Solomatic CBD is in the dark chamber since yesterday and I will cut her tomorrow. Her buds are nice and ripe; the trichoms show some amber. I will keep you updated.
A very easy and solid strain. The whole grow cycle was straight forward without any issues. I put her into an 11l liter pot with normal soil, fed her with standard fertilisers, did not apply any training, just let her do her thing and after a total of 85 days I decided to cut her down. She reached a height of 79cm, which is ideal for indoor growth. The harvest was a little disappointing, but ok: After drying and curing, I got 19g of high quality flowers. I tasted her with a Vapman vaporizer and was quite impressed: Citrus, sweetness and earthy aromas, yummy! The effect was also better than expected. Even without considerable THC, I felt relaxation and focus. Highly recommended for fans of CBD.
Finally I cut the lady on Monday. I removed all larger leaves and hung her to dry for a few days. I did not try to determine her wet weight as this does not make too much sense anyway. I will update the dry weight in a few days.
