I'm very excited to see what sweet seeds will do. I really hope that the Tangie will turn out well in the end, that would be great. Together with my new exhaust system, these controllers with AC in the name. Somehow I've always managed to stress the plants so much that sooner or later they'll have bananas. So I'm hoping to get around that this time with the vpd control.

The two Tropicanna Poisons are growing absolutely uniformly, if they weren't in different pots I wouldn't be able to tell them apart. I've slowly adjusted the VPD from 0.6 to 0.8. They look very happy and so am I. 😍

I adjusted the VPD towards 1.0. The plants are all happy and have now really started to grow. Both plants continue to grow completely uniformly. I like it 😍👽 Day 18 today

Last week, the two were still completely uniform. 😈 However, I gave one of them a slightly smaller pot and as a result it started to stretch a little earlier and is now a little taller. I actually wanted to just let one of them grow and train the other with LST to see how it behaves. For the LST, I chose the one in the larger pot. While all the other plants already have white hairs, the TP1 doesn't have any yet. It also looks a little strange and I'm a little worried that it could be a male. What do you think? 😰 I'm slowly trying to get the VPD towards 1.1. But because of my environmental conditions, sometimes it's only 0.8. I hope I can still optimize it.

Hey growers out there, all my plants already have white hairs, the TP1 doesn't have any yet. It also looks a little strange and I'm a little worried that it could be a male. What do you think? 😰 Its Tropicanna Poison XL Auto. Never had a male before, only banana herm stuff.

your plant is a bit different looking. Seems a sex organ has formed above the stipule but the fact it isn't showing a pair of pistils/stigmata at this stage of development is odd. Thankfully it doesn't look like it is projecting out from the stem - a male preflower will eventually be a set of 'grapses' projecting out from the stem on a twig, but the famale single calyx will rest right on the stem and only 1 per branch -- if you still have symmetrical growth, you'll have 2 at each node, and with asymmetrical it'll be 1 per node. In this case i'd pull off one of the preflowers and dissect it. You will easily discern between a buch of nanners or a fuzzy white hair inside -- the fuzzy white hair is female. You'll likely need some minimal magnification to see clearly. You won't need a microscope or anything heavy-duty. You can do this long before a hair pops out (F) or a set of grapes form (M) and if nothing is inside, then "plant bits" is plenty good enough description, lol, becuase if it doesn't have male or female anatomy in it, it is not a preflower. ----------------------- Not related to the answer --------------- On another note... lol the arrogance of some people... a bract is the leafy envelope. those pointy things under the 'preflower' are called stipules. No reason to call someone stupid or unknolwedgeable especially if mistaken yourself about this vocabulary. It's also quite hypocrital that shinsimilla makes everything personal and insults people instead of just stating their differeing opinion. Behaviour shinsimilla berates in the comments of GOTM context, so lets add hypocrite to the list of personality defects. Stipules are not sex organs nor related to them. They are present long before sexual maturity on the plant. https://www.druglibrary.org/olsen/hemp/iha/jiha5201.html https://homesteadandchill.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/sexing-cannabis-plants-anatomy-diagram.webp https://cannigma.com/plant/cannabis-plant-anatomy/ Can you find diagrams that fuck this up? yes, shinsimilla found one, lol. Even though i have a couple cannabis related websites i found one that is not, because most cannabis related websites deal in magic and nonsense. They misinterpret things because a 'bract' doesn't look the same on different species but provides the same function. It is the envelope around the sex bits (lol, hope that phrase upsets "shin") and not the stipule underneath it. https://th.bing.com/th/id/OIP.2g4zX_6vRdR1ifOQCfziYQHaKx?rs=1&pid=ImgDetMain -- BWAHAH lists stipules as bracts. Wherever this image comes from, they fucked it up. And, then to be so arrogant about it and to say someone doesn't know what they are talking about, lol... hilarious! organoman may not like me much but that doesn't change the fact that they are knolwedgeable about this plant. Most of his answers are fine and the ones i don't agree with are at least potentially correct more times than not, i.e. conflicting opinions in absence of quality research to prove one or the other correct. 2 wrongs don't make a right, but why try if it's a hopeless situation like shinsimilla being a dick to everyone and their mother, lol.

They are doing well. The two have now developed very differently. While one is growing tall with long shoots and is already getting hungry, the other remains stocky and is becoming very bushy. I started with lst and she is doing well. 😎 VPD between 0.8 and 1 Day 31 today

The week went quite well. I didn't have much time for the plants, while one is not yet stretching too much, the other is much further along. It is so hungry, I can hardly feed it as quickly as it needs without overwatering. But I am slowly increasing the nutrients - currently 600ppm TP2: 2,5L 600ppm PH6.7 - runoff 990ppm 5.75PH Ph little low, but my tap water is at 7.6, so i can adjust. VPD between 0.8 - 1.1 😊

The week went well. I'm currently trying to get rid of the yellow on the TP2 and have given it some extra nitrogen. It's already getting better. The smaller one has started to turn its buds purple. The big one has formed beautiful purple calyxes. I really like the genetics. VPD now between 1.0 and 1.3 😍😈

The buds are forming more and more. The two plants have developed quite differently, one very small with rock-hard, compact buds, the other with long stems and a more sativa look. the smell is getting stronger. It should take another 3-4 weeks though.👻 VPD between 1 and 1.4. DLI 48 (700ppm PH6.3)👽

The last week went great. Unfortunately, I can't get the humidity below 60%. Other than that, things are going well. 😇 The first milky trichomes are visible and now it's a matter of waiting. VPD between 1.0 - 1.3 (Ph5.95 812ppm)

Everything is great so far. 👽😼 The plants are swelling well. Unfortunately, I can't get the humidity below 60%. Unfortunately, I'm not in town for 4 days and can't control the environment, so I'll have to harvest one of the plants whether I like it or not. It's actually much too early, but I'll do it for the extra airflow. 💀💀 I think the small one with the solid purple flowers has more potential, it's staying put. The slightly fluffier one will suffer from it, it also has more milky trichomes, but still many clear ones. VPD 1.1 to 1.5 (881ppm 6.3PH)

We are finally nearing the end. 👻👻 Hopefully it will be finished in the next 10 days. I have already reduced the fertilizer considerably and the next time it will only be watered. Since I was out of town for a few days, I had to harvest the TP2 (far too early) to have better airflow. It weighed 301g wet, which probably won't add up to much dry since the buds aren't that firm or ripe yet. But I'm excited. VPD 1.1 - 1.5 😍

I harvested the last plant in several steps. The results are impressive. The first fluffier one was not as productive with 301g wet and 43g dry, but I also harvested it too early for other reasons. I'm going to make myself a snack from the buds. The other one performed great. The buds are hard as stones and smell like tropical fruit gums. I'm really excited to see how it tastes! I'll update when everything is dry! 👻👽 UPDATE DRY: The run is done! The Tropicanna Poison was super easy to grow and smells simply great. The first testers almost blew me away, really strong. More than expected. I would definitely grow it again. I harvested the first one way too early on day 65 because I had problems with the humidity, so as expected only 43g dry. The beautiful but small one with the massive buds gave me 76g of super dense and delicious buds. Less than 2g of popcorn :) Of course, I only kept 49.9g of the most beautiful flowers and properly destroyed the rest. 😕
