Week 10 started with another flush of 1 gal per plant pH'd to 6.3-6.5 on 4/14/19. Runoff was between 6.18 and 6.22. I estimate another flush around 4/18/14 and then a final flush on 4/22/19 which I will run about 4 gallons through per plant. I will then wait on the soil to dry out before I harvest so my harvest date will depend on the soil however I estimate that to occur on 4/26/19 ish. Trichs are still mostly cloudy not much amber so we will see what next week brings in terms of trichs. The trich development itself may delay my estimated harvest date as I would like to see mostly cloudy with some amber. See you next week as we approach the big day!
All but one plant is showing some red/purple on the main stems. Temp drops to 66 which I did not think was cold enough to bring that out. Ph is on par with no issues. Calcium def? Worth adding cal-mag 5 weeks into flower? Only source of cal was in the lime in initial blend.
hey there Jayann, yeah the red stems, you're right, it's the first sign of stress. This might sound wierd because you dont hear this ever, but your CFL is probably a bit too close and it's causing this stress you're seeing. You can fix it with more dolomite lime or any other calmag supplement and by moving the light even just an inch further away. the plant should recover within ten days. Hope this helps ! 🚀
