Plants are still running a 24 hour veg which will continue into week 3 at which point they will flip to an 18/6 schedule to prepare for less stress during the 12/12 flip (which I anticipate to be around day 60). Lights are an inch or less from plants and I do have concern that nodes could be too close however, plants are not minding it in the least so I have not raised the light up yet since they broke surface, I may fill out the rest of the solo cups with dirt on the ones where the dirt has settles much lower down in cup to support stems. Just simple watering at this point. Update 1/6/19; Lights were raised to the next chain link and remain about 1.5 inches from the plant. The growth looks to have actually increased more post raising it. I have included images of approximately 24 hours post raising the light to show the growth spurt. Update 1/9/19; On 1/8/19 I added a small socket heater to the room to raise temps to 70. As a result, the RH dropped as low as 22. On 1/9/19 I added a humidifier to the room and will update with room results after some time. I am going to prep my soil within the next 24 hours to prepare for transplant. This will be a combo of Fox Farms Ocean Forest, lime 1cup/3gal , 2 types guano 1cup/3gal and worm castings 1cup/3gal. Update 1/10/19; RH has raised to 47 during day with humidifier running. Soil blend was mixed which includes; 11 gallons Fox Farms Ocean Forest, 3.5 cups Mexican and Jamaican guano, .6 cups of lime and 1.25 gallons of water pH'd to 6.5. Soil blend will sit for a few days. Did a root check on GG#1 to check for transplant status. Roots are just starting to poke out of the sides of the dirt. Transplant is not needed yet and will check again in a few days after soil has sat. Week 3 will begin 18/6 and ideally they have time to adjust to the schedule change before transplant.

All but one plant is showing some red/purple on the main stems. Temp drops to 66 which I did not think was cold enough to bring that out. Ph is on par with no issues. Calcium def? Worth adding cal-mag 5 weeks into flower? Only source of cal was in the lime in initial blend.

hey there Jayann, yeah the red stems, you're right, it's the first sign of stress. This might sound wierd because you dont hear this ever, but your CFL is probably a bit too close and it's causing this stress you're seeing. You can fix it with more dolomite lime or any other calmag supplement and by moving the light even just an inch further away. the plant should recover within ten days. Hope this helps ! 🚀

@CRiSPrGrow, Thanks for the great response. Very helpful! I certainly would have never thought of the CFL's being too close. I appreciate the suggestions and you taking the time to help!
