Plants #1, 2, 3 and 4 recovered well from the first main-lining carried out last week therefore this week I've done main-lining for the second time.
During the week, plant #3 soffered of one of the two main-lining branch partially broken because tie too tightly to the support.
It was my fault because I bend it too much altough the plant was pushing a lot toward the light.
I repared the broken branch by duct tape and touching wood the plant is recovering with apparently no consequences.
About plant #5, due to its mutation, I'm not confident to go for main-lining but still I found it too bushy.
Because of that I defoliated focusing on the lower part where I also pruned it a bit.
If everything will proceed as per plan, next week I'll main-lining plant #1, 2, 3 and 4 for the third and last time.
After that I'll leave them another couple of weeks of vegetation and eventually I'll switch to flowering stage.
I hope to have gods of weed to my side 😄
A plant (1st veg week) grown from old RQS AMG seed has a strange "leaves schema" very different from the other plants: leaves don't grow in couple but in a messy way with no order. Is it something going wrong or this plant is healthy like that?
Genetic mutant.
To continue with it or not is up to you, but in my opinion, life iss too short to grow "maybes".
Weed being stronger from weirdo plants/mutants is not likely.
I agree with Mediterranean_Grown
Just a mutation, she might take a while to get going, but while she does the roots are filling the pot out and will help her bounce back.
Nothing to worry about.
Hey, great work so far for your first grow diary! 🌱 Just a thought—maybe try adjusting the pH of your water to around 6.0 around the growth phase to help with nutrient absorption, especially since a soil pH of 6.8 can make it harder for the plant to take up nitrogen effectively. I noticed your feeding schedule in groth phase seems to match the Plan of the nutrient chart, which is perfect, but it might be worth increasing to 3 ml as the plant grows. Some even can take 4 ml. If youz spot dark green colors on the leaves you can go back 1 ml down without hurting your plant. Just adjust slow and steady! Keep it up; this is already an amazing result! 😊
@BusyBeeFarmer, many thanks 😊! To tell you the thruth this's my third grow. The first one was RQS White widows photoperiodic which, due to uncontrolled high humidity, got some parasite or something like that the last two weeks before harvesting.I could not save anything and it was a complete fiasco. The second grow was RQS F1 Orion which I wrote a diary but not until the harvest but it was a success. My first complete grow and I still smoking it 😀. About the pH you're right, during the last weeks I decreased the water-nutrients pH to 6 but I didn't measure the soil pH therefore I can't give a feedback weahter the water pH was good or not. Thanks for your advice about the amount of nutrient during the veg stage. I'll follow it for the next grow and I'll keep you posted. Ciao!
