Zucca The plants just begin the vegetation stage. I notice that the one from the old seed has a strange "leaves schema" very different from the other plants: leaves don't grow in couple but in a messy way with no order. It's something I'm not use to and that I cannot esplain. One of fresh seed plant shows yellowish leaves compare to the others that are bight green. I hope it depend only by the palnt youg age. Light power increased from 25 to 50%

Zucca All the plants look quite healthy and even #5, which born from old seed with a mutation, seems ok with leaves start growing almost with the same "schema" of the other four plants. Light power 50%

Zucca Plants n.1-2-3-4 undergo main-lining with topping and defoliation while for plant n.5 no any grow techiques has been applied. The reason is plants from n.1 to n.4 grown from fresh seeds and shown to grow healty while plant n.5 comes from an old seed and it's shows signs of mutation therefore I was not so confident it could widthstand HST techniques. Light power set to 75%

Zucca Plants #1, 2, 3 and 4 recovered well from the first main-lining carried out last week therefore this week I've done main-lining for the second time. During the week, plant #3 soffered of one of the two main-lining branch partially broken because tie too tightly to the support. It was my fault because I bend it too much altough the plant was pushing a lot toward the light. I repared the broken branch by duct tape and touching wood the plant is recovering with apparently no consequences. About plant #5, due to its mutation, I'm not confident to go for main-lining but still I found it too bushy. Because of that I defoliated focusing on the lower part where I also pruned it a bit. If everything will proceed as per plan, next week I'll main-lining plant #1, 2, 3 and 4 for the third and last time. After that I'll leave them another couple of weeks of vegetation and eventually I'll switch to flowering stage. I hope to have gods of weed to my side 😄

Zucca After the third and last main-lining, plants #1, 2, 3 and 4 look fine (no grow techniques have been applied anymore). Few days ago I defoliated plant #5 and now she looks growing better; she's taller and less bushy than before maybe because she can enjoy more light and fresh air. Light power set to 100%

Zucca Last week of vegetation is finally over. All the babies are in good health and ready to bloom 😀

Zucca First week of flowering

Zucca Flowering stage looks quite promising. The plants drink lot more than veg stage and they grew a lot

Zucca Plant #1, 2, 3 and 4, which undergone main-lining, are taller (105cm) than plant #5 (90cm) which didn't. Instead plant #5 shows flowers slightly bigger than the other plants. All the plants are in good health. I cut few yellow leaves on the lower branches and add some soil near the plant trunk because, due to watering, some of the top roots were not covered anymore. Smell it is not so strong but after having touch the plants, hands are quite scented

Zucca Flowering stage is proceeding quite well. All plants are in good health. Even plant #5, the one with mutation, shows a promising harvest with less flowers than the oter plants but bigger. Beginning from next week, I'm going to add to the actual nutrients even molasses. I found several positive opinions about the use of molasses once a week to integrate the other nutrients and I want to test it.

Zucca All plants are in good health and after the initial stretching during the first weeks of flowering stage they finally stop growing in high. I began to feed the girls once a week with molasses but it's too early to evaluate results. What I can say about molasses is that it's very sticky, super dense and quite tricky to mix with water. Plant #5 looks drinking less water the the other sisters, in fact the soil is less dry the the other and the pot is heavier. Apart from that plant is growing happily.

Zucca Plants are in good health and start to be covered of trichomes. Leaves beagan to be quite sticky and here and there trichomes seems to be a thin layer of icy snow. Completing the sixth week of flowering, plants overcome more than the half of flowering stage and I can't wait to see the final result.

Zucca Everything is proceeding good. Due to plants hight and colas weight, I had to use some poles to sustain the heaviest branches. Pistils are becoming to turn reddish, sugar leaves are more and more covered of transparant trichomes and fan leaves are becoming yellow and falling. Buds are increasing in size and even in the lowest branches there're some of them despite are quite small comparing to the ones on the top.

Zucca Flowering stage is going on smoothly. At the end of this month these ladies should be ready to harvest; trichomes start to change color from transparent to matt white but still need some time to be ready. I can't wait to taste them

Zucca Touching wood 😅 the girls are in good health and are growing well. The majority of the thrycoms are still transparent, some are milky white and very few are turning brown-reddish. Given that Royal Queen Seeds indicates a flowering period lasting between ten and eleven weeks I think to be in line. I slightly reduced the amount of water to plant #5 (the one with genetic mutation) because I noticed she drinks less than the others (soil is costantly wetter than the others)

Zucca The girls are almost ready for hearvesting. Because of that and to "purge" them from nutrients, this week I fed with molasses only and I'm going ahead with water only for the remaining days. I think next week will be hearvest time 😀

Zucca And finally came the harvest week! I kept the girls ten days drying in the grow room with humidity around 45% The buds are not solid and big as I hoped but are still more than accetable, When I cut the plants none of them gave any sign of pest but, once completed the drying period, I noticed that the top and biggest bud of the plant with mutation became the home of some pest 😞 (see the last three pics). Apart from that everything went smooth.
