3.11: Another week of flowering is complete, and we’re now in what I believe is the penultimate phase before harvest. This week, I made a significant change by discontinuing the use of fertilizers in the watering regimen, allowing the plants to focus on natural development and clearing any nutrient residues. I’m aiming to harvest next week, and all signs point to that timeline being achievable. Upon inspection, I noticed that the majority of trichomes have already taken on a milky hue, signaling that the plants are approaching peak potency. Now, it's just a matter of waiting for the first hints of amber to appear, which will indicate the perfect harvest window for the best balance of effects. Unfortunately, the hermaphroditic plant hasn’t fully recovered. It has developed sparse buds, which likely won’t be as potent or dense as I’d hoped. On the other hand, my second plant is thriving; it’s producing robust, fragrant buds that are visually and aromatically rewarding. This contrast in plant performance has been a learning experience, emphasizing the unpredictability of growth patterns and genetic traits. As my growing journey approaches its conclusion, I’m reflecting on the ups and downs and looking forward to the final yield.
