Sewed the seed on 8/29/2024 directly into Mother's Earth Groundswell (https://www.mother-earthproducts.com/product/groundswell-performance-soil/) 3 days ago. She popped up today (9/2/2024) and looks great.
Moved her to a solo cup. That was a bit dangerous given her young root growth. We will see.
She’s doing just fine! Healthy and strong!
She’s not growing super tall right now and most growth is new vegetation.
She’s starting to fill out. Earlier this week she was already showing small signs of needed addition N. So I’ve been watering with a tiny nutrient solution of only 700 EC.
9/26/2024 - Transplanted her ti a 3gal fabric pot with Fox Farms Hapoy Frog and Dynomyco inoculation
9/28/2024 - she grew 2” in 2 days. The transplant plus inoculation has made a massive difference!
She’s getting taller than all of the other plants around her! I moved her to be fed by the AC Infinity bottom feeding base and so far, she really likes it.
Welp, I think Blimburn lied about this strain because she just up and decided to flower and this is supposed to be a Photo. The other strains I germinated with this (Grandfather OG) are the exact same age and totally different.
Either I got garbage genetics or this is an auto flower that is not GSC that Blimburn gave me. OR I’m an idiot and I read the listing wrong:
She stretched like crazy this week. Less focus in buds and more focus on doubling its size.
I did get word back from Blimburn and they confirmed they screwed up and sent me autoflower seeds. They have no idea for what though. So, this is NOT GSC, and I have no idea what it is. I'll let her grow out but I'm not expecting anything nice. Blimburn gave me a coupon for 1 free seed of GSC, but I ky if I spend another dollars with them. I take this as a lesson learned and I'm 100% done buying from them and will probably not sew any of their seeds again unless its a spring/summer outdoor grow that I don't care too much about. Very disappointed as I was really looking forward to this GSC 1:1…
Just letting her do her. She’s frosting up just fine, but not a ton of smell. Then again, I have a cold and can’t smell right now for shit. So she might smell great, I just don’t know.
Different nodes are maturing at different rates. Other than that she’s growing well and starting to have some fading leaves that I’ve been taking off when they get too yellow. I want the plants focused on flower, not trying to heal the vegetation.
I'm slowly taking off fullly yellow leaves as she's now dedicating all energy and resources to flower growth. The center stalk is more mature than all the others, which makes me think I will have to cut it first come harvest time.
