The seedling was just transplanted into a small 5L fabric pot. All-mix soil was pre-soaked and dried out during 24hs at open air, and I applied 1ml/L diluted Biobizz root juice on the first watering (200-250ml).
Tough week for the little one. She got either too much water, too much nutrients, too much light, or all of it.
I've managed to save her by cutting on the 3 variables, but now I'm more convinced that was a bit of everything.
This beauty is growing beautifully vertical. I trimmed the lower branches with buds and bad-shaped fan leaves.
I want to try a single-cola style with this one.
Last week she was looking very weak and with Mg deficiency like decouloration.
I took a more drastic approach and added more amounts of epsom salts to water. She seems to have recovered since then.
Some rusty points started to appear and spread very quickly.
At this point, I suspected nutrients/salt block and committed a mistake:
I've flushed with RO water until I brought down the runoff to 1.5EC. I was maybe wrong and also possible depleted the low volume of soil from important life and nutrients.
I've figured quickly that I had probably flushed nutrients so I've added guanokalong high phos as amendment in surface.
Biobizz grow and bloom were also used.
The buds started to show some development and the leaves started to yellow (probable accelerated senescence because of the nutrient deprivation)
Realized that my PH measure was wrong and probably that was causing some of the nutrient uptake problems. Bought an Apera p20 to replace my cheap yellow ph meter who was measuring 8 on RO water and 7 in tap water after correctly done calibrations.
My new PH meter arrived. I've started feeding correctly but unfortunately damage was already done. The leaves turned to yellow and purple very quickly. Fan leaves are already brown and decaying and sugar leaves are now full of purple and light green.
The buds started to ripen quite fast, the mango aroma and the sticky feeling of the gorilla gene were really noticeable. I've also realized that the breeder said that this strain should be ready pretty much by these dates (8-9 weeks), and I believe it might not be wrong at all!
I must say I've started very disappointed with all the problems that I had, and I thought it could be a bad genetics issue, but so far the buds look delicious from aroma and shape. The yield is going to be definitely low, but I wasn't growing it for the yield in any case, but more for the experience of doing a smaller plant in a smaller pot.
She has a pretty nice but soft smell that's perfect for a stealth grow.
I've been also feeding with LABs that i've done myself since the previous week.
