1. She is about ready for harvest! I took her out of the tent for a final flush and photos. Buds are thick and heavy. I'm surprised that I haven't had to support some of these branches.
2. Trichomes are milky for the most part. I thought I detected a few amber trichs a few days ago, but I couldn't find them today. I'll probably water 1 more time with 2l of plain water later in the week. Once she has dried out, I'll put her in the dark for 3 days then harvest.
INCREDIBLE!! What else can I say. Great work. I'm growing one of these myself and hope I can pull in something half as beautiful as this. Again, great work.
@Quexos, agreed. Consistancy is key. And small changes help determine if the changes are helping or hurting. Removing all avenues for human error is key personally to growing. Letting mother nature take its course without too much of my interference.
@Denzul, I like to reduce the number of variables in a grow if I can. Once a system is in place, you can tweak it by changing one of the variables. If you change too many things at once, you don't know what caused your grow to improve...or not.
@ChainsawSanta, She is developing nicely. The plant that is really impressive is the Dark Devil! She is really stacking on the buds. This plant looks like its going to have a lot of roundish buds.
@ChainsawSanta, I think I have at least 6 weeks left. I'm thinking 12 weeks from seed to harvest might work out this time. If she isn't ready though, I'll go longer.
I'm a year late with my comment, but as a new grower I wanted to thank you for the detailed grow journal, especially how you explained the changes as she grew, and the detailed info on how you feed. That info is so helpful to us newbies (I'm currently 29 days into my first grow. A trial by fire with 8 plants in 3 gallon pots plus two fun runs in 1 gal pots.)
And wow, what a beautiful plant and huge harvest. Us newbies day dream about a plant like yours.
Nice work!
@GroguGrows83, Thank you for the kind words. WoW! You have a lot going for a first run. I was stressed out growing 1 plant in the beginning. Good luck!
WOW!!! ๐ต๐ต๐ต Those nugs look amazing! The pictures have me very excited about my upcoming harvest of this same strain! My very first plant! I'll be happy if it comes even close to your yield. AMAZING! ๐
Congratulations! She's looking ripe and ready!
I can practically smell it from here! ๐
This strain really improves with some cure time. The pungency mellows a little bit and it turns super orange!
@Silverback_Guerilla, Thanks! I can barely smell her since there are 3 other strains in the tent. I'm happy that she kept her orange color. My other 2 autos went purple. I expected the Dark Devil, but the Royal Creamatic was a surprise. I will have a lot of purple bud in the near future.
She gets the dark room tomorrow/ I'll probably due the initial harvest Thursday or Friday.
@ArucambaAutoflowers297, Thanks! I'm a little concerned about the leaves, but they are just fading. I've never had a plant fade on me before. I've seeen lots of pictures though. I'll start trimming some of them off soon.
The Overdrive I'm adding this next round of feedings is supposed to bulk up the buds. I'd like to see that!๐
She's looking great...bushing up nicely without sacrificing any height! She'll take a little longer than mine, but she's gonna make some nice colas...๐
@Silverback_Guerilla, She is a few weeks younger than your Haze plants. I'm having some cal/mag issues. I've been noticing some spotting on the leaves. I thought about just ignoring it since this plant is probably 3 weeks or so from harvest and its going to fade out anyway. I did some reading and found out a little cal/mag never hurt anybody so I hit her up with some Demeter's Destiny.
I noticed that your colas are a lot thicker than my grow. My leaves and buds look more Sativa-ish.
Great results! I'm about to start this strain here soon. It'll be my first auto. Knowing that autos can be sensitive to LST, did you do any LST and when did you stop?
@@richrich,I didn't LST this strain on this grow, but I've grown numerous autos that I've topped and done some pretty serious LST. I would start training as soon as possible. Some strains I just pulled down the main stalk. Other strains I topped and did a mainline type of LST. I've had great results either way. However, since this is your first auto, I might suggest you let this one grow normally so you can get the feel of how of how autos develop.
I'm super excited by your diary here of the AH by Seedsman. I did a small .5 gal go last run and was impressed so I popped one in a 3gal and she is INSANE!!! I think we have very similar phenos by the looks of them, my lady is crazy leggy especially after my accidental breaking of her main cola while doing some LST. She recovered from that so quickly and it just forced all the surrounding branches to go insane!!!
