Hey everyone,
I wanted to take you along on my first recorded grow journey. For this grow, I’m using Black Apple Hitchcock from T.H. Seeds (feminized).
The seeds arrived on September 16, 2024. Right after that, I put them in a glass of water for about 18 to 20 hours with a half-strength Biobizz seedling nutrient solution. My idea here is to get the medium rich in nutrients from the start, so I can move from germination to the small pots as quickly as possible.
I’ve attached pictures from when the seeds arrived and almost daily shots of the plants since they started sprouting.

heute möchte ich euch an meinem ersten dokumentierten Grow teilhaben lassen. Für diesen Grow habe ich mich für die Sorte Black Apple Hitchcock von T.H. Seeds entschieden. Es handelt sich hierbei um feminisierte Samen.
Die Samen sind am 16.09.2024 angekommen. Nach ihrer Ankunft habe ich sie für etwa 18 bis 20 Stunden in ein Glas mit Wasser gelegt, dem ich eine halbe Düngerlösung von Biobizz für Sämlinge hinzugefügt habe. Mein Ziel hierbei ist es, das Substrat von Anfang an mit Nährstoffen anzureichern, um einen schnellen und reibungslosen Übergang vom Keimling in die kleinen Töpfe zu ermöglichen.
Ich habe für euch den gesamten Prozess von der Ankunft der Samen bis hin zu den ersten Anzeichen des Pflanzenwachstums in Bildern festgehalten. Fast täglich gibt es neue Aufnahmen, um den Fortschritt des Grows zu dokumentieren.

After topping, the plant took a break to recover from the stress.
On October 18th, I added two clips to ensure that later, as it grows, there will be enough space. To shape the shoots as desired, I initially pressed them down by hand frequently and later secured them with garden wire. On October 21st, I performed another stretch and removed two of the large lower leaves, as they were coming into too much contact with the shoots.
Next on the agenda is definitely a larger pot – provided the plant recovers well and the substrate is sufficiently dry.

Short story, long meaning: When I was done topping and wanted to rearrange them, one of the two upper shoots broke off..^^
Mad as I was, I decided to cut the other one + the main shoot here and, I don't know, I'm a newbie - develop 4 as potent main shoots as possible.
Which of course means time time time.

lexi1337 Advent, Advent the Sanlight is burning.
It's now big enough, filling enough space, and I'm afraid it might get too close to the lamp during the stretch.
That happened to me during my first grow with SSH from RQS, which resulted in the trichomes directly under the light looking more like fangs than mushrooms, and the B and C buds were really much better. I want to avoid that at all costs here.

what's there to report? I had/have the feeling that I'm over-fertilizing the plant. It's the first plant and also the only one in the grow that I'm using biobizz All-Mix instead of Light-Mix. Although I'm following the feeding schedule (completely), I've been diluting the nutrient solution 50-50 with water every other time. The red stems during the stretch are making me a bit nervous.
Other than that, I'll wait, water, and from day 21, I'll start defoliating and so on.
During the stretch, I'll let her chill.

unfortunately, I have to say that the entire report didn't turn out great. Here are a few more photos from the harvest. I had to take a break from cannabis for personal reasons, or rather, I stopped. I have about 25 grams of the plant trimmed, the rest I disposed of. Unfortunately, I don't know what I could have produced. I found it a nice experience. Unfortunately, it's not for me.
