I over germinated the first bean, failed to save it. Second one I went with the tried and true paper towel method (never fails), then into the jiffy pod and Hydroton. Seems healthy and fast thus far. Germinated in two days.
The sole purpose of this grow is to try a new line of Nutrients for me. I’m testing the TPS Component line. So far I’ve had crazy PH swings but they've settled. Swings started at almost 0.8 per 24 hours and now down to 0.2. I believe it’s due to the RO water and lower Cal/Mag than I’ve used with my “go to” brand (GHE).
So she may be a little over a week but I used to time vegetative stage from when I see the first note of 5 bladed leaves. She took a bit to get moving because I had the water level too high up to the net pot.
Once the roots started to hit water, she started to take off. This is why I love DWC. The process works especially as well with Autoflowers, hence all my experimentation.
It’s coming along just fine. Im still having major PH fluctuations after every change. I mix my RO water with 25% dechlorinated Tap, plus House and Garden Osmosis Stabilizer. I don’t think Im using enough.
She entered preflower and needed to be topped and defoliated just prior to that. You can see the progression throughout the week. Still having PH swings and need to check/adjust daily.
She entered flower and will be prone to a small stature for the rest of her lift. Nonetheless, I hope to pull a decent yield. Still testing TPS nutrients and the PH swings are out of control. So much so, I broke down and bought a BluLabs PH Controller. I hope to have it next week.
Dropped the base nutrients 1 ml/gal for both A & B. Noticed she started to slow down in eating so I’m adjusting as she goes along. Soon I will be lowering and PK blasting
She is almost finished. Smells like fruit and extremely sticky to the point it’s difficult to defoliate. Im hoping for another 2 weeks max and then it goes into the Cannatrol!!
This is my favorite new auto strain now. Enjoyed every part of the grow. She likes the nutrients very light, but was a simple grow with zero problems. Very sticky plant but not too loud. Curing in the Cannatrol as of now and will update in a couple weeks.
