First time putting the seeds directly in the substrate. Wish me luck. Using both lamps on 50%, should be enough for now. Update on day 3: 3 of 5 seeds are good, waiting till tomorrow for the other two girls. Fingers crossed. Update on day 4: 5 of 5 seeds are

Four out of five plants are developing well, but one plant is struggling a little. I’ve increased the light intensity to 75%. Starting with adding nutrient. I’m following the Plagron feeding schedule.

Variegation. Little inconsistency in pigmentation on first couple sets of leaves is nothing to worry about. Up-potting autoflowers does not shock them. I've yet to see a plant shocked from up-potting in 5 years and multiple hundreds of up-pots. It's nearly impossible to water them properly when they are not drinking fast enough to warrant the pot size. Water a small column (slowly expand as it grows larger) around the plant, but you need to make sure the wetness goes all the way down to the botom, which means it'll sperad out to nearly the width of the pot anyway. This means it'll stay wet for a longer period of time than what is healthy = higher risks. If you don't water to the bottom, you train the roots to grow superfically which is even worse. so much easier to just use a properly sized pot and not fall for the urban myth that up-potting is dangerous and will shock many plants... simply doesn't happen. All you should be doing is gently placing a rootball into soem soil and gently covering it up... if you agitate and man-handle the rootball, that's a self-inflicted problem easily avoided. Even then, good chance you don't see any shock, lol. always give the volume of water required to do the job correctly and not some volume you whimisically picked out of your imagination. If you water at same loss of weight, it'll take the same volume of water. read the guides on cocoforcannabis.com. watch bruce bugbee videos. Avoid bro-science. if it sounds like a bad supplement commercial, it's 'bro science' - promises the world and vaguely explains in some nonsense way or even attempt to sound science-y.

This week brought some notable changes and developments in the grow room. I increased the light intensity to 80%, which seems to have positively impacted the plants. They appear to be responding well to the additional light exposure, showing more vigorous growth and healthier overall development. In terms of watering, I’m sticking to a structured feeding schedule. The plants in the larger 20-liter pots are receiving 1,5 liters of water mixed with nutrients, while the smaller 13-liter pots are getting 1 liter of the same nutrient solution per liter. I’m carefully monitoring the moisture levels to ensure there’s no overwatering or nutrient build-up, and so far, the plants seem to be taking it well. This week, I also started training a few of the plants. Plant #1 and Plant #4 are currently undergoing training, with Plant #4 receiving a more aggressive training approach to encourage a stronger structure and better light exposure for the lower branches. Meanwhile, Plant #2 and Plant #3 have both been topped. For Plant #2, I topped the first node, while Plant #3 was topped at the second node, to see how each plant responds and to control their vertical growth more effectively. Plant #5, while healthy, still seems to be lagging behind the others in terms of growth. It's growing a bit slower and isn't as robust, but there’s no obvious sign of stress or deficiencies. I’ll continue to observe it closely and might make some minor adjustments to its feeding schedule or environmental conditions to help it catch up with the rest of the batch. Overall, the plants are progressing well, and I’m optimistic about the upcoming week. The adjustments in light and feeding seem to be working, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the trained and topped plants develop over the next few days.

This week has been quite eventful in terms of growth and maintenance. The plants have doubled in size, which is a great sign that they are responding well to the current conditions. The increase in light intensity and the regular feeding schedule seem to be paying off, as the plants are now much larger and healthier. I also conducted the first defoliation this week. I’m aiming to use techniques like defoliation only once a week, to give the plants enough time to recover and avoid unnecessary stress. The defoliation was carefully done to improve airflow and light penetration to the lower parts of the plants, ensuring that the energy is focused on the areas that need it most. The plants have shown resilience so far, and I’m optimistic about how they’ll bounce back after this session. I'm continuing to closely monitor all plants, especially after such significant growth, to ensure that they are responding well to the defoliation and training from last week. Looking forward to seeing how they progress over the next week as they recover and continue to grow!

Big week for the grow as the plants have officially transitioned into the flowering phase! Before the switch, I did some pretty intense training on Plant #1 and Plant #4, while giving Plant #2 and Plant #3 a lighter training session. The focus was on removing smaller side branches to help redirect energy to the main colas and boost their development. I also adjusted the nutrient schedule to better support the plants during this critical stage. I’m continuing to defoliate selectively, removing any large fan leaves that are blocking light from reaching the buds. So far, everything seems to be on track! Looking forward to seeing the flower sites really start to bulk up in the coming weeks. 🌿✨

I’ve got 3 plants in my tent, but they’re all different heights. To compensate, I’ve hung my light at an angle, so one end is closer to the smaller plants. My question is: Does this help, or am I better off keeping the light level? Any tips for dealing with uneven plant heights?

Keeping the light level is probably the best idea. Either tie down (LST) the taller branches to the same level as the shorter plant or put some crates/bricks/boxes under the pots of the shorter ones to raise them up to the same level as the taller one. Google "low stress training for cannabis".

This week was all about canopy management! Since Plant #5 was taller than Plants #4 and #3, I set up a net to train the plants to an even height. I also gave Plant #2 a bit more training since it started stretching up as well. Another update to the routine: I’ve decided to stop using Power Roots for now, focusing on other nutrients to support the plants through flowering. Looking forward to seeing how the more balanced canopy affects light distribution and bud growth over the next week! 🌱✨

This week, I started adding Plagron Green Sensation to the nutrient mix. Plants #1 and #2 are responding really well to it, showing strong growth and vitality. However, I’m keeping an eye on Plants #3 and #5, as they might be getting a bit too much – I’m considering reducing the dosage for them if signs of overfeeding continue. Plant #4 seems to be thriving with no issues, holding steady and healthy. Excited to see how the Green Sensation impacts overall bud development in the coming days! 🌱✨

One of my plants has yellowing tips on some of its leaves, and there are also brown spots forming on these yellow areas. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Could it be a nutrient issue, or is it maybe related to pests or environmental factors?

High Sheldor, You are overfeeding the plants with the problems. Lower the terra bloom nutrients to 3 ml/L and also make sure that you water till 20% runoff to prevent nutrient salts building up inside the soil. And keep your pH around 6.2 to prevent nutrient lockouts. I always use Green Sensation! It is my number one choice during the flowering phase! Happy Growing Buddy! 💚

This week, I made some changes to the nutrient schedule, as I suspected Plants #3, #4, and #5 might be showing signs of overfeeding. Hopefully, this adjustment will get them back on track. Meanwhile, Plants #1 and #2 are developing beautifully! Unfortunately, Plant #2 had an unwelcome visitor – thrips. To tackle the issue, I’ve introduced lacewing larvae to help keep these pests in check. Wish me luck, guys! 🍀 Excited to see how the plants respond to the adjustments and hoping the pest control does its job!

This week has been about finding balance. While the plants are looking generally healthy, it became clear that Plants #3, #4, and #5 were definitely overfed. I’ve adjusted the nutrient schedule, reducing the overall feeding, and it’s already making a noticeable difference – they’re starting to recover nicely. Meanwhile, the rest of the tent is holding steady, and the plants seem to be enjoying their environment. No major changes this week, just focusing on giving the plants what they need to thrive and ensuring a smooth recovery for the overfed ones. Looking forward to seeing more consistent growth in the coming days! 🌿

This week, I focused on keeping things consistent by watering the plants regularly. They’ve been progressing steadily, but I’ve decided to make one change moving forward: I’ll be watering without any nutrients from now on. The goal is to give the plants a clean slate and let them finish naturally. It feels like the right time to step back and let them show their true potential. Excited to see how this adjustment affects their growth in the coming weeks! 🌿✨

It’s the final countdown! 🎶 This week, I kept it super simple – just plain pH’d water 💧, no nutrients. I’m giving the plants a chance to flush out any remaining salts and focus on ripening those buds. 🌟 The trichomes are looking fantastic! 👀 Most of the heads are turning that milky white, with just a few clear ones here and there. No amber yet, but I’m expecting the perfect harvest window to hit this weekend – or early next week at the latest! 🕒 The smell is incredible – sweet, spicy, and earthy. 🌿 Can’t wait to chop these beauties and start the drying process. Stay tuned for the harvest update! 🎉

This week was supposed to be harvest time, but after a closer look at my girls, I decided they deserve one more week to shine! 🌟 The buds are still packing on a bit more weight, and some of the trichomes are just starting to transition from milky to amber. 👀 I want to give them the chance to reach their full potential, so I’m sticking with plain pH’d water 💧 and keeping a close eye on them daily. The smell is getting even stronger – a mix of sweet and earthy notes that’s absolutely mouthwatering. 😍 I’m confident that this extra week will make all the difference in potency and flavor. Next update: harvest time for real! ✂️✨

Overall, this grow was a fun experience! 🌟 Watching the plants develop and caring for them week by week is always rewarding. However, not knowing which strain I was growing left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. 🤷‍♂️ It’s hard to fully appreciate the process when you don’t know what to expect or how to optimize for the specific strain. That said, I’m really happy with how the plants turned out. 🌿 The buds are beautiful, the smell is fantastic, and I can’t wait to see how they smoke! 💨 This grow has definitely motivated me to dive into a new round – this time, maybe with a strain I can actually identify. 😉 Stay tuned for the next adventure! 🚀
