So this is the story of a promising strain, that was horrible to grow during most of its growth!π€¦π½ But then it turned into something pretty special at the end π
This purple punch auto by fast buds was everything it wasn't supposed to be!
To begin with, I had to throw away the first seed I popped from that strain, due to a very weird mutation that was causing the young seedlings to stop developing anymore branches after a few days... I cut it off at around day 14 when I realized the plant is no good (bad DNA/genetics maybe?)π₯
This didn't happen to me in a very long time....but it is what it is right..?
I decided not to give up and popped another seed of that auto purple punch... and again! I got a very weird and difficult growth from the second plant!!! π€
But.... the end result gave a huge smile on my face :)
This was a challenging grow, definitely a good lesson and experience for me.
Hello everyone and welcome to my new grow
dairy ππ½
This grow was made a few months back, and while smoking the last buds from this plant I finally found the time to share my experience with all of you.
Germination:
As usual for me, with the method that gave me 100% success with germination (assuming you use a genuine seed bank and good seeds).
The paper towel method:
I keep the seeds in a moist paper towel inside of a sealing plastic box, wrapped in towel for darkness, put above a heating Matt, making sure the paper towel is warm but not too hot.
A little more then 24 hours and the seed was germinated π
The seed the was put into a 4 gallon (15 liter) fabric pot, filled with coco and perlite (about 70/30), I was soaking the coco with a light solution made for the first week of seedling.
That's it for the germination:)
This plant was definitely a unique and good experience to grow ... It gave me headaches, heart attacks, frustrations and what not! But at the end..after learning a lot from this grow...man it was worth itπ
Until the next week everyone π½
@Herikus, I'm telling you man.. I've grown some plants in my life, but this one was a uniquely short! non of the modern day auto-flower I grew was this short, even though I topped them all. π πΎ
Thanks a lot brother π±
@1_Plant_Wonder,
This should be an interesting week for your PP; I think she was storing energy and making roots in order to become a beast....π½
π these bushy little plants that stay low, like you they do drive me nuts. I have a problem with defoliation, once I start and need to remind myself to back away. π
@NAS_Garden, thanks a lotππ½
I always top my auto plants and get the best results...
The key is to know how and when to do that, as these autos are on a time schedule hah
If you have a plant that is healthy, with good growth rate, then I top it when I see the fifth node start to appear, usually around day 15-17, that's gives me enough time to top and LST before flowering π±
@Fast_Buds, thank you! This was a challenging grow but with a happy ending π
You guys should check on my other diaries I've made with you strains, especially the gorilla cookies ππ±
