Week 7 arrived, and with it came some Crazy bud development π½π±πΎ
This midget plant kept growing on week 7, which only make sense since we're talking on the second week of the flowering period, but honestly we're talking on a minor stretch compering to any normal hybrid strain, especially for a strain who is describing as - and I quote - (I actually stopped here and got into fastbuds official site for the quote π€£): "this is a GIANT autoflower that reaches 150 cm..."
Well, this is not the case for me obviously,
But, and that's a big but, this plant is one of the healthiest plants I've grown! It's super bushy, and the bud development this week was very impressive! ππ½πͺπ½πΎ
Some highlights for this week:
- I started to lightly defoliate again, this plant is also one of the bushiest I've ever grown (probably the bushiest hah), I kept cleaning leaves that blocked major bud sites, but still went really gentle with it, as I want to make sure the plant won't get any strass at this point cuz I need it to get taller! π π€¦π½
- at this point I started watering drain to waste twice a day, with about 2.5 - 3 liters per watering, so roughly 5-6 liters a day,
Luckily I decided to go with 4 gallon pot instead of 3, so i don't need to water her 3 times a day, and I thank myself for that decision;)
Nothing else to say on week 7, just kept with the basics, keep checking the EC runoff, and waiting for the big cleaning/defoliating that will come very soon π
Untill the next week everyone π±πΎ
@Herikus, I'm telling you man.. I've grown some plants in my life, but this one was a uniquely short! non of the modern day auto-flower I grew was this short, even though I topped them all. π πΎ
Thanks a lot brother π±
@1_Plant_Wonder,
This should be an interesting week for your PP; I think she was storing energy and making roots in order to become a beast....π½
π these bushy little plants that stay low, like you they do drive me nuts. I have a problem with defoliation, once I start and need to remind myself to back away. π
@NAS_Garden, thanks a lotππ½
I always top my auto plants and get the best results...
The key is to know how and when to do that, as these autos are on a time schedule hah
If you have a plant that is healthy, with good growth rate, then I top it when I see the fifth node start to appear, usually around day 15-17, that's gives me enough time to top and LST before flowering π±
@Fast_Buds, thank you! This was a challenging grow but with a happy ending π
You guys should check on my other diaries I've made with you strains, especially the gorilla cookies ππ±
