Herikus Germination went well, but the Medusa F1 took about 5 days to pop out of the soil. Didn't think she was going to pull through, but here we are!

Herikus Going into week 1 she is looking beautiful and healthy. Waiting for her actual growth to really kick in. Started to see a fungus gnat in my tent. I put up some glue traps and a day later I saw a few of them stuck to it. I hope it isn't going to be a problem in the future.

Herikus Medusa F1 is a little behind my other plants but it's expected because of the longer germination period. She should be able to grow into a nice lady because of her genetics. I didn't give her nutrients until day 11.

Herikus Medusa F1 is holding strong and gained some height over the days. I planted her quite low in the pot, so I'm hoping her stretch will give it some height during flowering.

Herikus I adjusted the LST on day 29 to give every branch its room to grow. Also I hung the light higher to give her vertical growth. She is a bit behind my other plants. But I positioned her, so that the growth of the main-branches is encouraged. I also burned her a bit on the top, another reason to hang the light higher. Saw some pistol hairs on day 28. Happy to see her transition into flower!

Herikus Week 5 and it's flowering time baby! She started to produce her first pistol hairs and is switching to flower. That's why I'm adding Bio-Bloom and Top-Max to her nutrients. She was damaged due to light stress, but I think its going to be okay. Only the leaf-tips burned off a bit. The main leaves are still healthy looking. Update Week 5: I reduced the light intensity but she still looks like she's getting light-burned. I dunno what it is, but my other 2 plants happily accept the higher intensity? If someone has any idea, leave a comment down below. Also, her main-cola sites now finally produce some pistol hairs. Started to think she is pre-flowering too like my Meph. Wedding and needs another week. But now I can finally say she is most definitely in flower!! Forgot to make a picture on D33 due to personal reasons. Also defoliated her on D34.

Herikus Week 6 since sprout and Week 2 in flower started! She is my best performing plant right now and will probably produce some nice buds. A lot has changed in the last week and her growth almost doubled. Final defoliation was on day 39. Update Week 6: As she's approaching the bud-development stage, I wanted to give her a bit more light and switched from 18/6 to a 20/4 light schedule. However, I tried to compensate the 2 hours of missing darkness by adding a 1-hour long sunrise/sunset. Thus giving her a more gentle wake up and not blasting her with full light directly after the night.

Herikus She is amazing! Week 7! For now she's receiving around 2 watering's per week. One with the nutrients, the other one without anything (aside from pH-Down). And I think this is a great schedule for her, bc she's not getting nutrient-burn or nutrient-deficiencies. Update Week 7: She kicked into the main-bud development phase. Also, her leaves are slowly but surely turning purple. I think it's due to the production of anthocyanin, a pigment which in it's natural state is in fact purple. She's being kept at around 20-21°C at night, which leads me to believe, that the purple color isn't the chlorophyll breaking down. She's doing great an the buds became significantly larger over the span of a week. I measured around 6,9 pH on output water after her last watering. Not great, not bad. I reduced the input water to around 6,2 pH. Maybe that'll fix this.

Herikus Week 8 of this beauty! Buds are growing really nicely. Leaves are slowly all turning purple and I noticed she began smelling. The smell is comparable to a fresh lemon/citrus pie you would find in a bakery standing behind the counter with earthy and woody notes. No gassy stank whatsoever. Really lovely! She began showing some deficiencies, just like my other 2 plants, but I upped the nutrient dosage and I hope this will decrease the leaves yellowing. Update Week 8: Did some minor defoliation to give some of the bud sites more light and room to grow. But I will leave it at that. No more stress for this beauty, only bud development from now on.

Herikus Week 9 and I love this smell already! She got a handful more weeks to be fully ripe but let me tell you, she is a beauty and a star performer in my tent! I'm increasing the Bio-Grow concentration just a bit, because the bottom leaves become increasingly more yellow and I think the soil has too little nutrients in them. Other factors like temperature, humidity, light, etc. are always monitored, so I'm pretty sure it's the nutrients.

Herikus Hello double-digits week! Week 10 baby! Doing good! I checked for mold on the buds, but there luckily wasn't any! Very resistant to any kinds of stress, over/underfeeding, mold or other pests. This is going to be a regrow in the near future I'm looking out for! Update Week 10: She's slowly nearing the end of her life. Almost all of the trichomes looked milky, but no amber color so far! This checks out with the official grow-stats which recommends harvesting on day 70-75. However, I'm giving her until day 80 to produce some nice buds. From my experience, the bud I've tasted so far was best with around 50/50 milky and amber color trichomes. Let's see how she's going to perform. At the end of the week, around day 70, I'm only going to feed water until it's time to harvest!

Herikus The official last week of this absolute killer of a plant has begun! I'm planning on chopping her around day 78-79, the end of the week. Right from the start she looked very promising and I expect the results to reflect that. She is slowing down her bud production very heavily and I noticed the trichomes becoming yellow-ish, the first step to becoming amber. I think it's appropriate to leave her standing a bit longer than the recommended amount of 70-75 days. Also, I started to flush her on day 71. She is going to need 1 more watering till chop. But still, this harvest is going to be immaculate!!!

Happy Harvest Day!

She was a star-performer! Everything from growth to flower went really smoothly and she survived a small fungus gnat infestation. Unfortunately she developed pollen-sacs on day 70 which grew bigger and ultimately was the reason for her chop. She was quite inactive with bud development in the end. Also, I expected the terps to be a bit louder. Still, she's a beast and is worth a regrow.

Herikus I was planning on chopping her a few days later, but she started to develop pollen-sacs on her main bud (Top Cola picture) so I had to cut her before she pollinated my other 2 plants. Apart from that, she was a beast in my tent and performed really good!

She is indeed really great! Great buds, amazing taste and very relaxing high! Just make sure to leave some room for the stretch😅 Mine grew about 40cm / 16 inches in just 2 days. The top-bud almost got burned because I didn't check on her for just 2 days!!😵

@Herikus, Ha good to know! I'll keep that in mind. I have grown mine outside and really early in the year, so she didn't even have the ressources to stretch that much. Enjoy your hard work :)

Nanners time... Bad!

Herikus commented1y ago
@nonick123, yeah I know. I really wanted her to survive for the maximum recommended time till chop but now the top cola is really ugly. Good thing no other buds developed nanners
