Snaqq Because of a short vacation, I couldn't water the plant adequately. Snaqq Exciting week! Did the last big training with lollipopping, more defoliation, and more LST to bring the plant into its "final" form. To be honest, I am kind of glad with how it has worked out so far, especially since it's my first time topping and doing LST, and also my first time growing an autoflowering plant. Now, let's pray for many evenly sized top buds🙏 I also noticed that the plant becomes very thirsty. It's going for 3L a day soon, probably. Snaqq Stretch is slowing down. Buds are getting larger. I'm looking for the right time to apply PK 13/14. It will probably happen during Week 4 of flowering. Can't wait to see the buds fill out. Hopefully, all the top buds will grow together into big, even, solid colas. Snaqq Starting to apply PK 13/14 for one week, following the recommended CANNA fertilizer schedule. Buds are widening, the aroma is becoming more intense, and I've also experimented with a DSLR for some more detailed photos. A few leaves are showing slight clawing at the edges, which is an early sign of over-fertilization. Currently, it doesn’t seem to be an issue. With PK 13/14 added this week, the EC peak in fertilization is reached, which should be fine but will need close monitoring. I’m considering another light defoliation but haven’t decided yet. Relative humidity is well-controlled at around 45%. Snaqq The buds are packing on the weight and the trichome production is ramping up. The plant is starting to show some beautiful color changes, with hints of purple emerging. The runoff EC is still pretty high and I've noticed some burn marks on the leaves, so I've turned down the nutrients a bit after last week's EC peak. I'll probably be switching to just pH-adjusted water soon. Snaqq The plant is ripening slowly but steadily. I’m only giving it clear, pH-adjusted water now, with a little Cannazym and Cannaboost—no main nutrients anymore. The idea is to let it start using up its internal reserves. The trichomes are mostly clear to milky, so it still needs a bit more time to finish up. Snaqq This is the final update before harvest. The plant is gradually drawing nutrients from its leaves, resulting in increasingly autumnal colors, mostly yellow, with some purple spots on the leaves and flowers. The watering volume has also been reduced to slightly dry out the plant. This helps break down nutrients and chlorophyll in the leaves, improving the final flavor. It’s fascinating to observe how the buds dry and ripen at different rates. Initially, I was somewhat concerned about the possibility of encountering botrytis, as I did during my first grow. However, I’ve maintained a consistent relative humidity of around 40% during this late flowering phase. The drier buds, whose leaves are now very yellow and dry, reassure me that everything is proceeding as it should. Most of the trichomes are cloudy, with a few amber ones appearing here and there. Some buds are fully developed, while others still have a mix of clear and cloudy trichomes. Snaqq For harvesting, I cut the stem and dried the entire plant in the tent for 13-16 days at approximately 50% RH and 18°C, with gentle indirect airflow. Afterward, I removed the dried individual buds from the branches and trimmed them finely. Finally, I stored them in airtight glass jars with 62% Boveda packs. I will burp them everyday for two weeks. Unfortunately, despite maintaining controlled RH levels during the flowering phase around 40%-45%, I had to discard some buds due to mold. Very impressive root development. I am very satisfied with my second grow. It was much more efficient compared to my first attempt. Despite using only one plant and shortening the vegetative phase by a month, I achieved a higher yield than with three plants during my first grow. Another major improvement was drying the buds under optimal conditions. Unlike my first grow, where summer temperatures occasionally reached 30°C, this time I dried them in a controlled environment. The difference is remarkable—the properly dried buds are noticeably more resinous and flavorful. It was also rewarding to experiment with topping as a training method. Combined with LST, this approach worked so well that I plan to continue using it.
