looks good so far! At this stage I don't have many worries, but the time will come when I will have to transplant it into a bigger pot, and it will be the first time I do that. I've never planted a photoperiod before
Just been transplanted, let's see how it reacts. unfortunately I started it in a pot with soil reused from another plantation, and I notice problems with the calmag that I used to keep the soil moist when it wasn't in use.
I hope it gets better now with fresh soil 💚🌱
I just opened it more with Scrog Net. It will probably be the last week of vegetation for this girl, let's see how she behaves.
PS. Christmas is near, no one wants to offer me a new tent!? I'm already out of space 😅
one more week. I just placed one pot below the other to raise the plant because my lights are attached to the roof of the tent.💚
..and yes I know...the tent deserves to be cleaned well..😅
This plant seems to be doing well overall. After giving the soil a small flush to remove excess Cal-Mag and following up with a new watering to balance the nutrients, it appears to have stabilized and recovered slightly. The top buds are developing nicely, and I’ve been defoliating gradually and regularly to ensure the lower buds get better light exposure.
💚
There's nothing new to add for this plant; I'm just counting down the days until the finish. However, I can already notice a nice aroma coming from her 😌💚
The plant looks good for its final stage.
The top buds are well-developed, though the lower buds are a bit below expectations—probably because my lights aren’t quite enough for this photoperiod strain.
After all, I’m only running 180W. But overall, for a first attempt, I’m actually quite satisfied! Plus, I’m loving the colors of the buds—they have a beautiful soft purple 💜💚
According to the website, it takes 8 to 9 weeks to flower, and we’re now entering the eighth week, so I’m already counting down the days until I can chop this girl!
From now on, I’m only watering with plain water until the finish.
💚
My girl is just a few days away from harvest time! 💚💜
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately, some buds developed mold… I’m not sure if it had already started before or if it developed during the two days of darkness.
Three top buds were affected, but the rest seems fine. I did a wet trim, placed them on the drying rack, and increased air circulation in the drying cabinet to prevent further issues.
The soil was still moist when I put the plant into darkness, which may have increased humidity inside the cabinet and contributed to the problem. Either way, this is a technique I won’t be using again. To be honest, I’ve never really noticed a significant difference between doing the two days of darkness before harvest or not..I think it’s more of a placebo effect.
We learn from our mistakes!
🤷🏻♂️
Finally, trimming is done! This one was a pain in the ass to trim since it had a lot of inner leaves in the buds. In terms of yield, it only produced 70g dry, but I lost 3 branches to mold after putting it in darkness for two days, so it could have yielded more—shit happens . The smell isn’t very intense, but the buds are really resinous, which made trimming even harder. Overall, I expected a bigger yield, even without the lost branches. The top buds fattened up nicely, but as I mentioned throughout the grow, the lower buds stayed small. Now it's curing time, and I’ll post a smoke review later!
For now, that's it! I'll add more updates later. Meanwhile, I’ve started a new journey, this time with Runtz Auto from Zamnesia for the contest in partnership with Plagron.

@BelSun_420, thank you! I started up a diary today. I’m only two weeks above soil, so not much excitement in my tent yet. The fun has yet to begin…..but they all sprouted.
@DateCake, Only one of the plants is a photoperiod , the Durban Poison; the other two are autoflowers—Blueberry and Purple Lemonade. You can check them out in my other grow diaries!
@DateCake, Thank you! The plant was on an 18-hour light cycle during the first 7 weeks of vegetation, then reduced to 12 hours for flowering. As for its height, I stopped measuring after the first few weeks because I started training and bending the main stem. However, the average height of the branches is around 55-60 cm. Without training, it probably would have reached around 100-110 cm.
Yes, it looks delicious, especially the top buds, they're nice and fat, with beautiful colors and covered in trichomes. The lower buds didn’t develop as much, but I really can’t complain overall. After all, I’m only using 180W for this photoperiod strain.
That’s why I believe that if you’re planning to grow it outdoors, you’re going to end up with a real beast! 👊🏻
@SegaYGriega, Now that’s a real compliment, thank you mate!🙂
Durban Poison is a classic among classics, and I’ve always wanted to try it. I’m really looking forward to finally tasting it!🤤
@Legendaryseedthumb, Thanks for stopping by. I looked at your profile and you have a lot of good content, congratulations! 👏🏻 I'm still a newbie here, I've had good grows, but this last one in the other diary, which was my first diary, had too many problems.
good luck I will follow you 💪🏻
@GrowURownMedical, tks mate 💪🏻
another week or two and I will reduce the hours of light to start flowering. I'm just waiting for two other Autos to do at least 4 weeks with 20 hours of light
