Wow! She’s growing so fast! She’s huge compared to her tent mates!! I haven’t even fed anything yet! I actually topped a super healthy 5th node in preps for topping again later.
Finally got her transplanted into 1 gal fabric pot. I used some Great White rooting powder when I transplanted. She’s looking great!! Almost time for the second topping!
She is doing absolutely amazing and I’m going to have to transplant to 7 gallon pots in the very near future so I can spread her out and keep it even canopy for the scrog!!!!
Well the holidays got in the way and I will def be transplanting to 7 gal pots this week. She’s looking great so far and won’t need too much time before flipping to flower after I harvest the flower tents in a couple of weeks.…
Finally got her transplanted and tied down mid week. She’s happy to be in the 7gal pots and responding well!
I used 30ml URB to wet the old soil in the 7gal pots before transplanting! I also used Great White rooting powder lightly on the roots.
Well, I discovered part of why my veg cycles have been going much longer than past grows! One of the LED clusters was completely dead! AND the remaining veg cluster had 4 burned out LEDs! One of the blown LEDs caused a black spot to burn into the lens.
But good news! I just happened to have replacement veg clusters from a warranty repair back in 2018! I swapped out the clusters and switched one of the covering lenses from the flowering clusters and I’m back in action with essentially a brand new light for veg!!!!
Update: got her moved in to the flower tent and will let her go a bit more to fill up the screen and then flip to flower. Also took out the charcoal filter and reversed the flange to use fresh charcoal (it’s been up there for 5 years now) and also washed and dried the filter sock before reinstalling it...
Big update this week! Got her moved in to the flower tent and installed my new ViparSpectra KS 3000 LEDs! Upon retiring my 7yr old Platinum LEDs, I discovered many burned out LEDs in each cluster. Good thing I got new lights! WAY more efficient and way more even spread across the canopy. I’ve also gone back to using ExHale CO2 bags and I put my CO2 meter to good use and my positioning of circulation fans and bag height gave me reading of 844 in the middle of the canopy! So I lowered the KS3000 today to 17” and I’m getting around 602ppfd in the center. Way better readings than I’ve had before! Looking forward to vegging a couple more weeks and then flipping to flower!!!
Last week of veg complete! I had the new lights too close and the temps crept up toward 80 and the leaves were drooping and looking sad. I raised it to 24” and they responded very well and the leaves look much happier! I lowered the light to 15” for flower mode. Manual says 12” with 100% power, but if they didn’t like 80% at 17”, they are probably not going to be happy with the new height of 15”. I’ll monitor this week and see how they do! Longest veg cycle ever lol….
First week of flower complete! The plants are responding favorably to the flower transition. They handled the 100% intensity at 15” well and they grew up to 12” away from the light! The tent temps are definitely warmer with this light, which I believe is from the power supply being in the tent. I’m not sure how I can mount it outside the tent with my current setup, but with the exhale CO2 bags, they seem to be handling the higher temps. I may have to figure out a solution to mount the power supply outside the tent to get the humidity back up and the temp down.
I use a SensorPush sensor in each tent and I finally got a G1 gateway to monitor the tents when I’m not home and I recently discovered the sensor tracks VPD. My
temps are a little high for optimal VPD, so I may start using my old humidifiers in the tent.

Flower week 2 complete! She’s responding well to the new light! I had to raise the light up a bit to 15”, but they grew right back to within 12” of the light. It’s strange watching the grow with the new lights after 7 years of my old lights. I’m hoping for a bountiful harvest with these beauties!
I started tracking VPD with my sensor push sensors and I added my humidifier back into the tent to increase humidity and get the VPD in a better range.
Shes looking great!!!!!!
