tini_jack I completely forgot to take pictures during the germination phase. It's my first grow diary, so I'll try not to let that happen again, hehe. I put them in the typical container with damp paper on 10/10/24, covered the container, and placed it in a dark drawer. After about 48 hours, I re-moistened the paper and kept them until 13/10/24, when I checked that everything was fine except for one of the two seeds, which had a bit of trouble getting its cotyledons out. With a little help, everything has gone great.

tini_jack Everything is going great and we moved them to a small pot. For personal reasons, they will spend almost a week without being transferred to their final pot. The two Gnomes are spectacular; their capacity really catches my attention. Then we have the two that were bothering me so much that I considered throwing it away and starting another one to germinate. Looking closely at it, I noticed that the root was much thicker, not only compared to its sister but also to the others. I decided to keep it and give it a lot of love.

tini_jack The roots of the gnome are quite a sight. The chosen substrate has been cover crop, because, looking at the components, I was really drawn to the fact that it contains mycorrhizae. The adaptation is great. The watering per plant exceeds 0.5 ml; I even have to dry the drainage of some of the plants. I do this to thoroughly moisten the entire substrate and not stress the plants too much after the pot change. We transplanted to a final square/plastic pot of 11L.

tini_jack We're starting week 3, day 14/21.
I decided to put the autos I had on the terrace together, with which I've been playing around and doing all sorts of tricks, from homemade DWC systems to radical pruning, etc... After all that, I ended up moving them to the substrate so they could have a few last weeks of quality life.
They're a Somango, one of those that are usually given away at online grow shops; this particular one was gifted to me by Saltón Verde, where I bought some stuff. It's the most advanced since it's in full flowering; in the photo, it was still in the DWC system, but I ended up moving it to the cover crop, adapting like a champ to keep developing those flowers that I hope, after a good root wash, will fill my cabinet with aromas.
We have 3 White Widow this time, also gifted from Eurogrow; these have more sativa-style leaves and a more intense green. Two of them were companions of the Somango in the hydroponic system, and unlike the third, they're starting to flower. It's likely that the apical pruning plus LST on the last one will cause a bit more stress and slow down its development.
There's also a survivor from a germination in a glass of water, which wasn't very effective that time, and after waiting several days with no germination, I decided to throw it in the substrate just in case, and magically, two Gelato XL appeared, also courtesy of Eurogrow, because we make the most of everything in my house. Only one came through with a lot of strength and vigor, turning into a lettuce with broad leaves. After a generous defoliation and apical pruning plus LST, our friend will hopefully give us some great moments. I'm really loving the Kannabian girls, especially the two that had a hard time, but I'm very sure they'll end up surprising us. For now, lots of love for all of them, and as soon as my pruning scissors arrive, we'll start with the cultivation techniques; I think I'll go for main lining + LST and some apical plus LST, but nothing is set in stone yet.
