My flower tent is getting close to finishing so it's time to get reloaded for the next run! For those that follow my grows, these are clones from the plant I didn't finish on my original Swiss Cheese run. I grew that plant out - cutting it back several times along the way- cloned it, then let it go into flower outdoors. It's currently half way into flower as a cute little bush. The cuttings are pretty advanced and have been rooted for awhile. Once they rooted I put the plugs into net pots and irritated them twice daily to keep them alive. They have been growing some and all are alread topped. The weird cone shape to the root balls are from divits in the plant rack I had the nets setting on to drain lol. I finally set these girls up in their DWC buckets today. They'll get a few weeks veg and begin their journey.

The clones are adjusting to life in the buckets well. Roots lookin good. They're just now starting to reach the solution so I haven't needed to refill any yet. Growing fast. I chopped my flower tent on Friday so I moved the big light over these while the tent dries. Growth should bump up. Running @ about 75%(363w) set 24 inches above the tops.

Steady growth on the week. Not only height but much fuller in general. The plants really began drinking harder this week. I wanted to switch over to the transition schedule on my nutrients when I moved them over to the tent today, so I didn't top off any this week. Each bucket was down to about a gallon each(out of 3 gallons when topped off). The move over went smoothly. I'll give them a day or two to adjust then do a little training and cleanup under the net and switch over to 12/12.

At the beginning of the week I set the light to 12/12 and began the transition schedule for my nutrients. Been retraining branches about every 2 days. I added about a gallon of solution(full strength)to each bucket on Friday to top them off. Today(10/27) I went in to do a good skirting under the SCROG net and prune out excessive growth. The goal is to have no more than one top in each square and eliminate branches that can't make it above the net. Included some before and after examples. It may look a bit aggressive at first but it's only temporary, they will fill out again in a week or so.

The plants rebound nicely after the skirting and defol last week. Finally reaching the center, wasn't sure it would make it. This strain doesn't really get super big though this is my first go doing true hydro with it so we'll see how it goes. They probably have 3 weeks of stretch ahead so it might get crowded. The tops are starting to show their transition to flower, next week should mark my first documented week of flower. I'll continue running the transition nutes for about another week or so and then transition over to the flowering ratios.

The tops are forming well and bud sites are springing up. I topped off about a gallon each bucket on Tuesday and let them drink down their reservoirs the rest of the week in prep for swapping out fresh nutrients today. Beginning flower ratios for next week. I went through today and did a bit of cleanup for airflow. Most hit bottom of canopy and long stem leaves clogging up areas. Still plenty of foliage.

Plants are booming. Flowers lookin great. They've stretched to within 12 inches of my light, so if they grow more I'll need to back the lights off a bit. I have about 6 inches to spare and can create a little more if I get creative with my filter. There so full again, hard to believe I did a defol just a week ago. I'll probably do another next week. I wanted to push temps a little higher so I turned down the exhaust. Relative humidity is pretty low currently so it hasn't been an issue yet, might have to turn it back up if it gets rainy again though.

Seems I'm adding about a gallon about every 2-3 days per tank. Little to no stretch this week and flowers starting to get a little bigger. Vegetation is thick and there are pockets of moisture from the crowding. Time for a defol. I attacked the bottom and in between branches pretty aggressively but leave a few of the leaves up high. The improved airflow should keep things healthy. There are a crapload of budsites in there. The next month is gonna be exciting!

Buds starting to put on weight. Stretch seems to be done, I did a good job guesstimating where to set my light, didn't have to really move it much at all. Their drinking about the same amount of water but they're slowing down on how much feed they are consuming. I topped off twice, once with ferts and once with just pHed water, to keep in my 1800 ppm range.

Another week down. Buds are bulking, smells are picking up. Cleaned up a few more leaves, nothing crazy just improving airflow a little. I hadn't done a tank change since the start of flower so I pumped out all the buckets and supplied fresh nutes today. Since they're not feeding as hard anymore plan to bring my target ppm down to 1200-1400. I stop adding KoolBloom too.

This is a pretty fast running strain. Nirvana calls it at 7-9 weeks depending on pheno. I ran it 8 weeks last time, one was definitely ready but the others could have probably ran another week or two. Running clones, these should finish a little more evenly. They're close but it's probably gonna be around or shortly after the new year when these get the chop. With the low humidity and nearing their end, the plants are drinking more water than feed. EC/ppms are slowly creeping up throughout the week, top offs have been with half strength nutes. Flowers are putting on weight but this strain doesn't really make huge flowers, they get pretty dense though.

We're getting soooooo close. Honestly I could chop now, there's tons of cloudy but I was trying to push a little amber on this run. They went through a late stage swell this week, buds are looking juicy and the cool night temps are really pulling the purples out in the leaves. They're not really feeding hard anymore, alternating between pHed water and half strength nutes for top offs to stay in range. I'll probably hit these with a harvest prep defol on Christmas and chop next weekend sometime.

Swiss Cheese has been a great strain to grow. Vigorous plant that is generally no fuss. The flowers it puts on don't get huge but they're dense and plentiful. It's more mid level THC wise from my previous grows of it, making it a nice easy "daytime smoke".

Ignore my wet weight, as usual I don't weigh until it's dry. Who cares about all that water and stalk weight, am I right? I'm trying to slow my dry down a little bit, currently running my exhaust on a timer so the tent doesn't get too dry. Will be back in a couple weeks for the weigh in!
