Hello all and welcome to my grow! "Trippy" sprouted on 10/13. It was really strange. Anyways, I am a huge 420 Fast Buds fan. I've never ever had any issues with their strains. I soaked Trippy in 8oz. cup of bottled water with 1tsp of 3% H202. From personal experience, H202 is a great additive for the soak (and to water the plants too)! There are many benefits to adding it.
Not only does it speed up germination and boost root development, it also help aerate your soil & it helps kill off bacteria.
I always use gloves when touching the beans. When she was ready I placed her in the plug. Personally, I don't transplant autos. I like placing them into the plugs and right into their forever home. I thought I had another pot left and didn't. She went into a XL DD coffee cup. I figured it would be deep enough where she could just dig that tap root down down down. My pots won't be here for a couple of days. I've decided (for her benefit) to let her grow about 2 weeks in the cup. (The cup is styrofoam and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will be able to remove the plant from the cup without disturbing the delicate roots below too much. For this it is good to have the medium not dry...but not too wet either).
As soon as something exciting happens....I will be back for the next entry!
Happy Growing!
@BlazinMomma, hahaha oh no 😩...... let's see if you're able to nurse Trippy back to health. Naughty Lucky hahah . We will be following to see how it goes =)
Ouch! I'd be tempted to start over rather than spend the energy to bring it along only to give a poor yield due to all the stress. Although I have a hard time giving up on any plant too... lol. I guess it's easier said than done. Peace
@BlazinMomma, I hear ya Momma, I got 2 that will never produce much and I should pull and investigate the roots but they're still putting out tiny fresh green.... lol. I have replaced them and relegated them to deep recesses of the grow room. Happy growing and peace!
@Smowkabowl, I'm going to try and nurse it back...I just feel so bad giving up on it...I'm going to give it a few days and see how much the stress has actually affected her...😳
