Salixi 1. Growth week So far, everything is fine. I'm curious to see how it goes now that the ladies have good light directly. Hopefully, the air pots will contribute their part as well. I might need to get a fan, but that was a bit difficult at the moment because there wasn't one at the electronics store.

Salixi The day before yesterday, they got fertilizer for the first time. The tomato fertilizer is running low, let's see which one I'll use now. I would prefer the Compo Grow, let's see if it's available again. This time with better light and the Airpots, there's definitely a huge difference in growth to observe. This strange genetic defect in leaf development seems to be due to the strain; so far, all seeds of this strain have had such oddly deformed leaves.

Salixi So, I think I’ll just let her grow as she wants, she still has those slightly genetically strange discolorations and leaf deviations, but we’ll see how she develops this time with good light and the Air Pots. So no topping or other measures here,

Salixi She's doing quite well this time. So far, I haven't applied any training methods except that I'm now exposing her to strong wind for 15 minutes every hour and a half with a timer. Somehow, the genetics always seem a bit strange during germination, but this time it has grown out well, and the plant looks healthy and solid. It's also on its way to the flowering phase. I took a chance and topped the main stem. 10.11.

Salixi Yesterday, I defoliated her on a slightly larger scale and pulled her apart a bit with wire in the middle of the week. She's generally growing more spindly than the other two; just like in the first grow, the genetics seem rather weak to me and a bit hesitant with growth, but definitely persistent as shown in the last grow. And after almost 12 weeks of flowering, she also produced a pretty good yield. However, this time she is much stronger so far and also significantly more compact. Now that she’s going into flowering, she will probably stretch quite a bit in height. Well, we’ll see where this all leads this time; I’m curious.

Salixi This week, a few leaves were removed and the tip was split, so after the Fimming. The Fimming didn't go as I had imagined. Okay, the apical dominance was broken, which is good, but the single leaf that was still growing from the tip didn't show any signs of forming a shoot from the node. So, I cut off the single leaf a few days later, which caused stress again. Well, from the last grow, I know that Haze develops much slower. Overall, she now looks very robust and good. Yesterday, with a heavy heart, I cut off the two lowest main shoots because they would have become too puny anyway and would have only drained strength from the other shoots. She looks like she has already forgiven me. ;)

Salixi So the good lady has really stretched herself, I'm amazed. Although she did that in the last grow too, as I had almost given up on her, but she still turned out to be very productive, even if the quality was quite modest in the last grow. You can definitely notice the sativa-like growth compared to the other two. She will probably take quite a bit longer to finish, but that's unfortunately always the case with Haze. I have pruned her quite heavily, and bent the two main branches down for a few days because they were overshadowing the others so much. As a result, the side branches are now taller than the main branches ;/ She's kind of doing what she wants, and is currently growing at a pace that makes you think she wants to break through the ceiling. I'm of course very curious here, but so far I'm super satisfied with the cultivation. In the group picture, she's on the right.

Salixi The first trichomes are showing, and the stretching phase should now be over. Overall, she looks healthy, and I'm curious to see how the bud development will go. And whether she'll turn purple later.

Salixi No comparison to the first grow. The colas are very different in height, so unfortunately, she doesn't get light evenly. This harvest will definitely be very spectacular if nothing bad happens in between. But she definitely needs another 3 or even 4 weeks, so she has to stay here alone with the helper gardener over Christmas. I hope she forgives me for that. I'm really curious about how much yield she will give and what the quality will be like. She will definitely get fertilizer this week and then only water and a bit of Cal Mag over Christmas: I'm very happy with the results so far.

Salixi So far, everything is going according to plan. I never thought after the first growing phase that this would turn into such a magnificent plant. It had a strange mutation on one flower. This flower was significantly more mature compared to all the others. Since I have to leave it in the care of the temporary gardener for a week, I decided to snip off the mutated flower. I don't want it to rot or anything. I hope this doesn't have any negative impact on the rest of the plant. I'm really excited about how it's developing. And I can't wait to see it again in a week. From now on, it will only get Top Maxx and a bit of enzyme tea.

Salixi This week, the assistant gardener had to take care of the plant. She now has all 3 lights to herself and is making mega fat buds. I'm really excited because the seed looked a bit weird and stunted at the beginning. I'm only giving her Top Maxx and Calmag now, along with a bit of enzyme tea. I think in about 1 to 2 weeks she’ll be ready. Unfortunately, she’s not turning purple.

Salixi So, the probably last week has begun. The first trichomes are turning amber. The harvest is approaching. Unfortunately, it hasn't turned purple, but I think that's because it's about the same temperature day and night here.

Salixi After some trichomes have turned amber, I decided to harvest them. After a rough trim where I removed all the sugar leaves and fan leaves, it weighed in at 735 grams, which is definitely a new record for me. I'm very satisfied and excited to taste it. Now it's hanging in the attic to dry. Of course, there will be an update once the dry weight is confirmed. Update. Unfortunately, I can't fill out the smoke review, so here's the update. Dried, it was a whopping nearly 140 grams. Extremely sticky and resinous buds. The effect is intense, and it has a slight lemony taste. Wonderful.

Looks really good, beautiful leaves. Wishing you big buds 💪

@YayooFX, Thanks, I don't think they'll get fat, but I'm curious.

HI. Couldn't pass up a good looking Purple Haze 😄 Good job so far! You are using BioGrow and FishMix? At the same time? During the flower stage? Your plant looks good nonetheless!

@Spike-GreenGrower, Yes, the protocol from biobizz suggests to use fish mix and bio grow together in the last weeks as well , just reduced the dosage a bit. https://www.biobizz.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Nutrient-Schedule-DE-2024.pdf

@Salixi, "It's beneficial to replace Bio·Grow with Fish·Mix during the vegetative phase. Switch to Bio·Grow when you want to trigger flowering." Hence why I was so surprised 😀
