Salixi 1. Growth week
So far, everything is fine. I'm curious to see how it goes now that the ladies have good light directly. Hopefully, the Airpots will contribute their part as well.
I might need to get a fan, but that was a bit tricky since there wasn't one at the electronics store.

Salixi The day before yesterday, they got fertilizer for the first time. The tomato fertilizer is running low, let's see which one I'll use now. I'd prefer the Compo Grow, let's see if it's available again. This time with better light and the Airpots, there's definitely a huge difference in growth to observe. Topping on November 1st.

Salixi So, I hope the topping yesterday doesn't set her back completely..
Overall, she looks very robust and is growing really well.
I'm curious to see how it goes from here.

Salixi Even though you shouldn't really top automatics, I have to say she handled it excellently. I also tried to shape her with ropes and wires so that all the shoots are about at the same level and symmetrically distributed. Let's say I'm going in the direction of Main Lining experiments.
I don't want to stress her too much, but for an automatic, she has a very robust genetics that seems to tolerate a lot.
So far, I find the results very convincing.
Of course, she's also getting the "good stuff" from Biobizz now. And I'm very curious to see what happens when she goes into flowering.

Salixi While tying down the two main stems, I broke the trunk. That's why the lady is now wearing a blue bandage. Now, the mainlining was a lot of stress, but she really handled it well. Due to slight signs of over-fertilization, I've now started using Acti Vera and Alg A Mix as well.
On the first day after the trunk broke, I sprayed the plants with a mixture of Acti Vera and Alg A Mic. I didn't want to add the Fish Mix because I actually don't want it on the leaves and flowers.
The plant is doing excellently even though I've really stressed her hard and has achieved what I consider an almost perfect distribution of the flowers. All the flowers are at nearly the same height, and I only removed a few of the fan leaves that were shading some stems, and I took out the very bottom stems yesterday.
From my perspective, the lady is absolutely impressive so far, and I'm curious to see what kind of yield she produces this time.

Salixi This week, I just changed the bandage on the broken stem and removed a few of the lower new shoots and some old leaves.
Other than that, I'm letting it grow as it wants now.
Two days ago, I removed all the strings and wires that were holding it in place. Now it’s like a race towards the light has begun.
The individual shoots are all trying to reach the center and are slowly stretching out further.
Wow, the plant impresses me when I compare it to the last grow where it was just a little scraggly herb and only yielded 5 grams; this time I expect a bit more.
It’s a sea of flowers, and it has basically 6 main colas, or better said, 6 particularly lush flowers.
They already look like the other one in week 9.
I hope the branches can support the flowers; we’ll see.

Salixi She's doing exceptionally well. I've completely cleared the lower half of leaves and small nutrients, but otherwise, I've released all the ties.
She's now in the middle under the self-built lamp, and I hope she continues to develop there just as she has so far.
She's in the middle so she gets more from the fan because she has such a dense flower canopy that I hope everything stays well-ventilated. If necessary, I might have to remove a few more leaves, but I also want to leave her enough photosynthesis opportunities.
I'm curious if she'll be ready before Christmas because we're going away for 3 days, and I'm worried about leaving her alone with the (temporary gardener) when she's in the maximum ripening phase.
She's developing excellently, and it doesn't really show in the photos, but she's basically made up entirely of flowers. Absolutely crazy.

Salixi The good one is definitely my favorite in this growing cycle. She is thriving excellently, even though the inner shoots got a bit too much light, and I raised the lamp as a result.
She produces very fat and resinous buds that are slowly becoming denser. The trichomes are mostly milky by now; I will feed her one more time tomorrow, and after that, she will only get water.
I am very curious to see how the flowers will develop further.
The smell is definitely quite strong.

Salixi This week, she only got a few enzymes and Top Max and CalMag; now it's just water until harvest. The smell is amazing and promises a really nice smoking experience.
The trichomes are now mostly milky, so basically, it could be ready for harvest any day now, as soon as about 20% of the trichomes have turned amber.

Salixi Everything went well this week, the buds are getting heavier and maturing slowly but surely.
Nothing else special.
Unfortunately, it's very hard to get the trichomes to show up well in the picture.

Salixi Since not much has really happened in the last week and the first trichomes are turning amber, I've decided to harvest them because a lot can happen in a week. According to the manufacturer, the strain ripens in no time, and I didn't want to risk an absolute couch lock and see that they are overripe in a week.
So, it was harvested today and weighed an incredible 625 grams after I removed all the larger leaves.
In the update, I'll specify what came out dried, but when I think back to the last grow where it was 5.2 grams, this time looks completely different.
A total of 66 grams dried, now it's time to quickly dispose of the excess.
I've been thinking about it for a while, but I've decided to top her today. She's been growing really aggressively, and I think that by topping her, she might be a bit delayed now, but she could end up staying a little shorter in height.
Still, this growth is in no way comparable to my last attempt; she's now as far along as she was after 4 weeks last time.
