Hi everybody
I did a defoliation and lst but unfortunately, while bending a branch, I broke it (photo). I waited a couple of days to see if it would recover, but it didn’t survive, so I decided to cut it off at the base
Overall, the plant is doing pretty well. The only issue, if we can call it that, is a slight nitrogen over-fertilization (due to bat guano), visible from the dark green color of the leaves and the tips starting to yellow and burn. Up to now, I haven’t added a single drop of fertilizer, and I don’t think it’ll be needed for the entire vegetative phase and the beginning of flowering. I’m using tap water acidified with Biobizz pH-
At the moment, I’m undecided whether to put up the SCROG net immediately to encourage horizontal growth or wait until I transplant it into the 18L pot. I’ll decide in the next few days
If I’ve missed any important details or if you need more information, feel free to let me know in the comments
See you around!"
Edit
The roots are visible at the bottom of the pot, so it's time to repot! In the end, I chose a 23L pot. The substrate was prepared the same way as for the first repotting, but without bat guano, as the plant already seems rich in nitrogen. Next week, it will be time to start scrogging.
