Hi people!
The plant responded well to the transplant and is producing a lot of leaves. Normally, defoliation isn't done this frequently, but this Mob Boss handles stress (whether it's defoliation, LST, or transplanting) exceptionally well! All my compliments to Anesia Seeds for this strain😍. Additionally, I don't have much space, and when I start scrogging, I want to avoid too much clutter.
As you can see from the photo, the branch I had previously split vertically managed to survive.
I am continuing to water with pH-adjusted water without any fertilizers. Now, I'm undecided whether to elevate the plant (placing the pot on a stand) to immediately apply the scrog net (currently, it would hit the intake fan). I'll think about it since I don't need to update anyone in advance (not that anyone reads my grow journal, anyway!😅).
P.S. I got caught up in the seasonal sales and decided to purchase a Mars Hydro FC 3000 EVO (2024 version) with the addition of two AdLight modules: IR15 and UV30. I'm very curious to see how it performs. For the price I paid, it feels like a steal (on my part!😜) if the performance matches the claims. Only time will tell!
Edit
I did another defoliation on the lower leaves and branches ---- the plant looks shitty at the moment but I know it will recover (too strong genetic!💪)
The new lamp is finally arrived! I installed it in the box and it fits just perfectly
For now, I haven’t turned on the UV and IR (I’ll start using them during flowering)
As shown in the photo, the supplemental modules are not exactly symmetrical, as the plastic mounting brackets touch the walls of the grow box. A 90x90 or 100x100 space would have been ideal, but I don’t have the option to expand at the moment
Currently, the lamp is set at 50% power. I must admit that connecting everything was quite complicated since I couldn’t remove the scrog and the plant
I still need to decide on the timing for the UV and IR usage. I think I’ll stray slightly from Mars Hydro’s guidelines😝
