Let the grow begin! I try to germinate them in these cups. I made a lot of holes in it, for air-availability and water drainage. after they show their first leaves, i will put them into their final buckets.
Day 3: Pineapple Express was first, followed by the Red Mimosa. I should have made a photo of the seeds before. that Red Mimosa Seed was Huge! I am expecting a lot!
Day 4: All the others followed and showed their head.
Day 5: Every lady was ready and already 3 to 5 cm out of the soil, except the weddingcake. But all o them are doing great and looking good after just 5 days.
Day 6: Time to move them into the tent, they are getting to big.
They moved into their final home at day 6. They were stretching a lot for the light and i thought they would do better in my tent than in the breeder.
I was afraid of the temperatures, because i have a garage-like building that is not heated and winter is coming. But with an old electric heater and a big rug under the tent, it works pretty good. Light is dimmed at ~30-40%.
Day 12: i think i overwatered them a bit, hope they will stay healty. some of them need some support, so i used gardenwire for that. hope it will work.
Day 13: had some time for pictures now. i didnt watered them for 2 days, so tomorrow is the day. air humidity is kept at around 75%.
Its getting really cold, so I need a heater for the night. I already set the lighttime into the night, so the heat of the Light will help a bit. Dont know if it will work in such a big tent. My ventilation is running only a few hours at daytime. Overwatered them a bit with too much nutrition, the blueberry did not like that a lot, but all of the look healty.
I want to start LST on Day 23. I will just bend her down and tie the leaves to the side.
Every Strain is doing really good, im watering them all 3 days adding the nutritions above. But i also see some strains that didnt like the overwatering at the start. And i burned my strawberry gorilla a bit with waterdrops on the leaves. but she seems to be unimpressed by that. Today i also noticed a very little smell when i opened my tent. im curious which one is making this scent, it was really sweet.
i raised the light intensity from 70% to 85%, leavin the rest for bloom.
Day 24: i watered them yesterday with about half a litre of water. i included lacalva stress treatment before making the LST. i kind of feeling like im a bit too late, but we will see.
Day 26: we had a blackout, because a constructionworker hitted the main cable. 2,5 hours less light, im so glad that these are automatics!
Day 27: Damn guys, i think i did bad on this LST stuff. all of them are really bushy and very strong showing upward. in my first grow, i never had these issues. but all of the stems are so huge. they are close to be bigger than the final stem of my first grow. i think i need to defoliate them soon. i removed the wire and let them do what they want, until they get to know the net.
Day 28: I have started into week 4, and im curious when the first sights of flower begin. i decided today to cut down my bags, because the lower branches didnt had enough space, maybe this is even the reason why they are so bushy. lets see how this is working now, i bet it will be much easier to water them now. i also cutted one leaf, because it had sunburn because of waterdrops i didnt recognized.
The smell is getting also stronger, but still couldnt figure out which plant smells so nice. it is a very nice and fruity mixture.
i also decided to Stop LST through binding and bending. i will just Scrog it soon, that should do the part.
Day 30: I hope the Temperatures wont drop anymore. had a night with 10.6 °C. The Pineapple Express and StrawberryGorilla did not liked this a lot. But Blueberry, Northern Light and Weddingcake seem to be stronger against the cold. I watered them a bit today, and will also stop giving to much fertilizers. maybe i will skip one Week of fertiolizers, and start again when bloom is starting.
Day 32: i think i was again not patient enough. I will just keep them watered until they start to bloom. Will install a SCROG net in a few Days.
My worries: 1. I think my Pineapple Express and the Strawberry Gorilla really didnt liked the cold Days. There were Temperatures about 10 °C in the nights. The PE seems to be stunned a bit.
The others are developing gut actually, but i hope to have warmer climate soon.
My happies: The Red Mimosa is still developing great. Also the Northern light is growing pretty good, and they dont show any sign of struggle because of the low temperatures.
My biggest is 30 cm (Red Mimosa), the smallest is my pineapple Express, its only 20 cm so far, but still growing bigger somehow.
I had an advice from an old friend: just let them grow. and i nearly did exactly that. i just tried out a little bit LST on the Strawberry Gorilla and Northern Lights. Afterwards i cutted the big leaves that were responsible for Shadow and low airflow and watered them with less water, but all 2 days. lets see how they react.
talking about nutrition: they just got a little help for the bloom and wont get anything before next week or until they show some deficits. i think it wasnt the cold weather that let my SG suffer so much, i just overfeeded her.
Week 6 is starting well, and the bloom seems to hit heavy on all of them, but espacially my Strawberry-Gorilla. i still have issues with big differences by temperatures, but i found now the possibility to keep it at least above 15 degrees at night. dont want to see the electric bill, but this grow is worth it.
im giving all 2-3 days water, rotatory clean water and with nutritions.
Last week happened a lot. I Was looking forward for day 49, because it marked the last foliation day. I put away the scrog net ä, because i think i just let those girl the freedom they need. The sidebranches got thicker, and I think i just let them go from now on. This is the first time im really giving nutritions, and the difference is huge. These nugs are crazy. They are 3 weeks before harvest much bigger than These from my first grow.
I also have some cal/mag issues on my strawberry Gorilla and my Red mimosa. Lets see if I can handle it.
Day 53: i think the plants are struggeling with the high variation in temperature. its between 10 degrees and 28. but i cant move them into a heated building. at least i hope that the yield will be ok, and next grow will be under other circumstances.
Its being pretty bad with the temperatures. My worst night was like 10 degrees in the night. All plants are Not pretty healthy and show signs of stress and missing nutritions. But at least the smell is awesome. But all buds except the strawberry Gorilla are very small but dense. Lets See where this is going.
I didnt give them any nutritions anymore. Think that I will cut them in a week or maybe 2. Waiting for the first brown heads.
Broke accidentially a branch from my northern Light. This broke my heart but it has many milky trychomes, so I just will dry it and hope that this will work somehow for this little bud.
I lowered the humidity, so at least nothing will rot.
Day 66: i need to harvest the blueberry. The trychomes were getting darker and were aboout 30%, the lower buds were completely milky but with nearly any amber trychomes. i thought about cutting only the upper part, but than i decided to cut it completly. this will make it easier with handling. i will never do 6 plants again at the same time :D
