Well I conveniently have 1 tall and 1 short clone from the same lemon orange mother. I will mainline one and leave the other untouched except for defoliation later in life as needed.
These poor girls suffered a catastrophe. The space they are growing in is new to me. And I did not realize how cold the floor got until all of the seedlings sharing this tent died 😢. I have now insulated the tent floor. Unfortunately, not before these Lemon Oranges suffered a what I believe is a CalMag deficiency as a result of some root issues.
These girls are back on the path of recovery. By the end of this week the ‘training’ plant will receive her second topping.
Currently attempting to influence the height/development of the untrained plant with light ppf
The twice topped plant is starting to take off now. I think I will leave her to grow with 4 main colas.
The girl without topping is being trained as an attempt to expand her breadth. It’s going slowly but hopefully the peripheral tops rise to the canopy.
The plant I did not top just entered week 3 of flower. The details in this diary now reflect only that plant.
I will make a separate entry for the topped plant. I plan to flower the topped plant with the pineapple pheno hunt.
This week I will defoliate this plant since stretch is now over.
(Untopped) She’s thriving surprisingly well for how close she is to the light. This round of lemon orange is going well so far.
The topped clone is growing with the pineapple mini pheno hunt. Doing well and is currently in week 2 of flower.
The untopped girl is entering her ninth week of flower and will be harvested the end of this week. Very happy with how this plant turned out.
The topped girl is entering her 4th week of flower in a different tent (with the pineapple punches). Also happy with this one’s progress. The nutes for this one are slightly different than the elder z overdrive is substituted with kushie kush and sensizym
This lemon orange pheno demonstrates its strong genetics compared to all of her tent mates consistently in my opinion.
