3F - Have 2x Quantum Boards running at 85W each (170W total)
15 tops total - going to keep them pruned
6F - Growing really well - slightly worried that the stretch will grow too close to the lights, so keeping them as low as possible for as long as possible.
My biggest struggle has always been cutting clones, ive polinated and feminized my own pollen and seeds but never could i come close to a successful clone. Youve got a great cab and talent my friend
@H0B0, I usually take clones from any branch that looks established - meaning, if it has 2-3 nodes on it, and is about 5-8 inches long, it's good to go. I've taken clones from topping, from the bottom of the plant (undergrowth), side branches, etc... all of them have worked for me. You might get slightly different results (faster/slower rooting) depending on where you take them from, but overall they should root regardless.
If you look at the week 1 pics of my diaries, you'll see roughly how big the clones were when i cut them. Some have been pretty small too, and still worked.
@thephalanx420, i got all the material and got a aeroponic cloner given to me but its more the action of how and whem to take clones, like how do i know when is right or when is ready or am i cutting the right branch or because i dont top it or fim it will i never be able to take a clone cause theres only one main cola?
@H0B0, make a bubble cloner. I just cut branches, trim the leaves a bit so they aren't bulky and huge, stick the stem in aerated water (air pump and airstones), and a humidity dome over them. you might have to add a tiny bit more water at some point, but i've never had a clone that didn't root within 10-15 days.
Loving your custom cloner setup. Can't tell you how much money I've spent only to go back to the basics..... a bucket and a pump :D
Keep on keeping on friend :D
Bud looks very tasty and that cabinet is amazing really well done. May have to steal a few ideas from you when I next tweak my wardrobe setup between harvests, kinda just threw mine together but definitely gonna look to install some proper vents like how you have it. Enjoy the fruits of your labour, well earnt!
looking beautiful! I just looked through this diary and your others for this strain after looking at it on oaseeds, I would really like to grow this strain in the near future. Good luck with your harvest!
