My standard organic soil recipe as follows: 35% peat 20% worm castings 15% coco 15% perlite 10% volcanic lava 5% Biobizz Pre-mix Rootgrow and PM granules in the transplant hole. First watering with SM3 Seaweed Extract (great product! I use it regularly on ALL my plants, shrubs and flowers).

@Mrs_Larimar, Yes, maybe...but it's also true that: "Never change a winning team" 😀 Anyway, I had 100% germ rate on a couple of C99 F2 eighteen years old seeds! So the problem is still puzzling me...

@DT1967,maybe think about to change some old habits ( i say that with a lot of respect) Ive grown last year around 30 plants in and outdoors and i used my method only two seed did not come... but that was my fault, one was an old seed that i found years after buying , and the other one think was old too he looked scaly and had aweired colour. Sometimes changes lead to success. I think we are same age i started growing 1985 and had a longer break with growing, and i learned here on GD last year more than in 25 years

Day 7: unfortunately no other seed is peeping out, I'm starting to get worried... I've added a thin layer of coco to preserve humidity since I will be away until tomorrow evening

Thanks Mrs_Larimar, and, yes, I've done my homework in the last 29 years! But kind words and advice are never enough! Expecially with autos since I have only a few harvest under my belt. I'm going to transplant in a couple of days in 3,5 litre pots (the biggest I can afford in the micro-room I'm currently allowed).

Dear friends, after a few years stop I’m growing again! I’m starting a serious CBD project for pain relief after a back injury. I’ve decided to grow recently purchased Dinamed CBD strains plus a vintage THC cross I’ve made in year 2000: it’s a C99 F2 made from original Cinderella 99 seeds, purchased from Mr. Soul himself! There will be 2 grow cupboards: one for Autoflowering and one for Photoperiod strains. I’m starting in 0,2 litre plastic cup and transplant in 3,5 litre square pot + mycorryzae. Sterilized sowing mediums are: soil mix (peat-perlite) and a soil-coco mix (peat-coco-perlite). Day 0: Tray 1 (fotoperiod) - 5 x Dinamed CBD Plus - 5 x Bubba Kush CBD - 2 x C99 F2 Tray 2 (autoflowering) - 7 x Dinamed CBD Autoflowering - 3 x OG Kush CBD Autoflowering - 2 x Critical + Autoflowering CBD Day 4: first sprouting: two C99 F2 and one Dinamed OG Kush CBD Autoflowering! hi, and welcome Back to Growing. looking nice so far. I really recommend you to transplant the automatics asap into their final pots. Its the best to let them start, after Germination in their final pot, filled with a nice prefertilised fluffy soil. Automatics like it that way. If you keep them into small cups, as soon as the mainroot hits the bottom. They may stop growing, stay dwarfy. And in worst case start flowering. If you know that everything( looking like an experienced and well prepared grower) pls extinct that post . Happy growing and iam following along

Can I ask a question please my friend? With germination do you go direct to medium with your seeds or do you germinate using another method like the "paper towel tech"? As you've been germination seeds for many year's I'm just trying to find the problem this time 👍 All the best ✌️ Mark..

@DT1967, I would do everything the same but I would try the "paper towel" tech 👍 This way you can see the seeds actually germinate (typically within 24-72 hour's) then you could plant direct into your 200ml pots 👌 Just a thought my friend 👍 All the best ✌️ Mark..

@DinafemSeeds, Dear Mark, thanks for peeping in. My standard procedure is: - 12-18 hours in a glass shot with pH 6.2 distilled water to moisturize the seed - then directly in 200ml cups with sterilized soil/coco until first roots emerge from bottom (see pictures) - finally in 3.5 litre pots with PM Granules and Rootgrow in the planting hole 👍
