The plant was huge and it took a long time to trim. I simply threw away a lot of small buds at the end of the trimming process because otherwise I would never have finished.
I first harvested the large buds and then illuminated the rest of the plant for another 10 days and then harvested the rest of the shoots. Unfortunately, since I have very low humidity at the moment, drying only takes 5 days. This will definitely affect the taste but I couldn't change it.
Everything is now packed in Groovebags with Bovedas to regulate the residual moisture.
When harvesting the main bud I achieved 364 grams and 10 days later I was able to harvest another 100 grams dry weight.
This brings me to a total dry weight of 464 grams. Not bad for an automatic plant. I couldn't find any mold, although that was my main concern. A really good strain, very resistant and easy to care for!
Almost 400 watts of light output in a 60x60 tent is extremely limited and only possible in winter. I constantly let cold outside air into the tent to keep the daytime temperatures around 28 degrees. This would no longer be possible in summer. The dense plant meant that hardly any light reached the DWC container and I was able to maintain a nutrient temperature of 22 degrees. That was all very close to the maximum in this grow!
Good CalMag. Easy to use and you only need 0,25ml per liter. A liter for 11 euros should really last a long time. I had no spots on the leaves or similar signs of a Cal/Mag deficiency throughout the entire grow.
I am really excited about the Plagron Hydro fertilizer. It's cheap and the two liters of A + B were enough for the entire grow. I never had any deficiency symptoms at all and stayed about 20% below the dosage of the fertilizer schedule throughout the entire grow. I had slightly yellow tips for a week and then reduced the EC value slightly. After the first dose of Green Sensation I could really see how the buds were swollen. An absolutely great product. 5 stars for Plagron!!!
The growbox has now completed its 4th run and unfortunately the zipper broke on the second one. I now close the last 40cm with three safety pins. That's why the quality couldn't produce me 100%.
Very hot and relaxed grow with great results. Either I will grow Apple Fritter Auto again or maybe Amnesia Haze Auto. I have to get some new seeds first :)
@sanibelisl, correct. I've been growing for 15 years now. So I already have a bit more experience than my newbie status here suggests. I'm working on moving up further. Maybe I'll become a guru someday :)
Your training looks absolutely stunning. The plant looks like a ball haha. Also got Apple Fritter from RQS as Promo Seeds. Maybe next year I'll find the time to grow it!

Its so rewarding and a little bit work to defoliate is not the end of the world. you got less other things to do and i think it would be a miracle if you fail after getting to this point. You got it and now you are "one of us" 😆

Thanks to your videos on YouTube, I got the idea to try Hydro. I was so impressed by your results that I wanted to give it a try. I've always grown in soil and the results there were okay. But Hydro is a completely different beast and my 60 x 60 is almost bursting.
So your praise is an accolade for me! I hope I can carry the plant through to harvest without making a serious mistake or getting mold.👍
