I have put the Seed in Paper Towels two days ago in the evening (05.11.2024). Today i was able to see the first little root and have put it directly into the final fabric pot. The soil is BioBizz All mix and on top of that (where the seed is planted) some usual non fertilized soil. Now i'll wait for the plant to grow out of the soil.
The plant sprouted on sunday (10.11.24). Due to other plants inside the tent, which i dont want to burn, i have to keep the lamp on max. and the lamp rather high. Also Humidity is at 40% inside the tent, because of other plants flowering. I try to keep humidity around the sprout higher with the glass over it.
Increasing now in the ciourse of a few days the Lights on time to 18h, as my G13 x Dawg Haze is finally harvested.
I hope to see the difference in the growth speed
I think i'll use up my Biobizz all mix and then switch to light mix and rather add nutrients by fertilizing later. The growth of my latest few plants is rather slow. The Autoflowers additionally seem to be overfertilized only by the soil. If anyone has tips, what I'm doing wrong, I'll gladly listen.
I guess it is time to accept, that this run went wrong. In comparison to other grows she's incredibly small and probably won't give a great harvest.
I'm still struggling to find out, what exactly the issue is. Over fertilizing doesn't seem to be an issue. Flushing the soil did not change anything. It did not worsen up, but did not get better as well.
I am now experimenting with PPFD and DLI, as the mobile apps have shown way to high results. I am just not sure about how much i can trust these apps as the relative measurement error is dependent on the build in sensor. I have reduced the light to 225W in hope to have better results for the plants to come.
At the end i finally figured that the light was simply to strong. I also added an CO2 enhancer, as it was in sale and i wanted to try it out. I guess i could chop her in a few days, but i'll wait a little bit longer, to increase the yield. Won't be much but she is smelling great, which makes me excited about the taste.
I have not weighed her wet, but dry weight is 13g. The main factors for that was simply the wrong set up of the lighting and me taking so long to figure out the issue.
Even though she was completely stressed all the time, I'd say she did pretty fine.
Still got 4 seeds the next ones will be better :)
