GrownByLoyalDawg **November 6, 2024** / Day 2 Today, about 30 hours after planting, the roots of the seeds have taken hold. This means it's time to transplant all the plants into their first 3.5-liter pots. The plan is to later move the plants into 11-liter pots so they have enough space to grow strong. For the next run, I’m going to try a different approach: first putting the seeds in 1-liter pots, then transplanting to 3.5 liters, and finally to 11 liters. This way, I could make the root development process even more efficient and promote a healthy, strong base. So far, I've only watered and haven't added any nutrients to gently acclimate the plants to their new medium, the BioBizz Light-Mix. This mix should provide the plants with enough nutrients at the beginning without the need for additional feeding. After the first 24 hours in the new setup, I also turned on the first Monkey Fan. The gentle airflow is meant to strengthen the stems and promote healthy growth.

GrownByLoyalDawg **November 12, 2024** / Day 8 Today, the four plants were fertilized. Each plant received about 350 ml of water enriched with nutrients (about 1/4 of the manufacturer's recommendations). After about 15 minutes, a slight drain was observed, indicating good saturation of the substrate. For the next watering, I will reduce the water amount to 300 ml per plant to maintain balance and avoid waterlogging. The LED lamp was increased to 75% power to provide the plants with more intense lighting. **November 17, 2024** / Day 13 Today, the substrate was dry, so it was time for watering again. Each plant received 300 ml of water, to which a bit of BioBizz pH Down was added. This adjusted the pH of the water to a range between 6.0 and 6.5 to ensure optimal conditions for nutrient uptake. The upper fan leaves of the CapJunky were carefully tucked under the lower leaves. The goal of this measure is to allow more direct light contact to the lower branches and thus promote their growth.

GrownByLoyalDawg **November 20, 2024** / Day 16 Today I repotted the four plants into 11L pots. The root development looks healthy and I would rate it around 7.5 to 8 out of 10. The roots are well-formed but not exceptionally strong. For the next grow, I plan to use 1L pots for rooting to possibly encourage even better development. Nutrient amount: see details in the table **November 22, 2024** / 18 Days Today the soil of the plants was dry again, so I watered with 1L of water per plant at a pH of 6.5. All the plants absorbed the water well, and there were no signs of waterlogging. The GG4 and Purple Milkshake are showing slight signs of over-fertilization. The symptoms suggest that the current nutrient supply was a bit too high for these strains. No fertilizer will be used for the GG4 and Purple Milkshake next week. The other plants will receive the usual nutrient amount according to the table.

GrownByLoyalDawg **December 8, 2024** / Day 34 After ten days away, I inspected the plants again today and noticed some issues. While I was gone, watering was taken care of, but it wasn't done optimally. Additionally, the plants showed clear signs of over-fertilization, likely because the EC value wasn't adjusted accordingly. To counteract the over-fertilization, I completely skipped fertilizing during those ten days. Despite this challenge, the plants were topped above the 4th node, which is a small progress. Upon my return, I noticed that especially the Cap Junky and GG4 showed symptoms of a Cal-Mag deficiency. This needed to be addressed urgently. Since the roots had completely filled the 11-liter pots, I decided to transplant the plants into a new Autopot system with 15-liter pots. For the first nutrient supply after transplanting, I administered the nutrient solution using a watering can. I strictly followed the feeding schedule (see separate details), with an EC value of 1.2 and a pH value of 6.4.

GrownByLoyalDawg **December 15, 2024** / Day 41 Flower day 2 Last week, the Autopot system ran smoothly with a pH level ranging from 6.0 to 6.7, which has clearly benefited the plants. A crucial step was taken yesterday: the lighting was switched from 18/6 to 12/12 to initiate the flowering phase. This marks the beginning of a new section in the cycle. Today, I prepared the nutrient solution according to the feeding schedule for flowering week 1 (exact details are noted in the table). Since the nutrient solution initially had a too high EC value, the EC was adjusted with additional water. The final value is now at 1350 ppm, which represents the optimal range for this phase. The tank was filled with a total of 6 liters of water. Additionally, I removed obstructive leaves to improve airflow and light penetration. I also topped some of the taller shoots that became noticeable throughout the week to encourage even growth. Overall, the plants look healthy and ready to fully focus on flowering in the coming week.

GrownByLoyalDawg **December 22, 2024** / Day 48 Flower day 9 The plants are still doing well. They seem really happy, and the distribution looks neat now. Here and there, I’ve removed a few fan leaves to make the lower areas more accessible. I’ll tackle the bigger lollipopping as planned on day 20 of the flowering phase. This week, I watered with the Autopot system at a pH of 6.0–6.7. Everything seems to be running stable. I fertilized according to the top-shelf schedule, as documented in the table. The EC value was at 1,500 ppm.

GrownByLoyalDawg **January 19, 2025** / Day 76 Flower day 37 Today, the plants were defoliated for the second time in flowering – and at the same time for the last time, as we are now in the fifth week. It's impressive to see how well they are developing! The leaves look excellent, which confirms to me that the current process is working. Fertilization continues according to the schedule, but there was a small challenge: the Autopot system temporarily failed. So I had to water by hand again. At first, the amount of 1.5 liters per plant seemed a bit too much, so I reduced it to 1.2 liters. This adjustment seems to be doing well for the plants. For the future, I've decided to switch to an electric drip system to avoid failures like this and make the process more efficient. Additionally, I plan to set up the next round on a coco basis to observe the difference in growth and behavior of the plants compared to the current method.

GrownByLoyalDawg **February 9, 2025** / Day 97 Flower day 58 Today marks the beginning of the last and final eighth week according to the feeding schedule. An exciting moment, as the end of this cycle is approaching. The plants look overall vibrant and healthy – a good sign that they are continuing to develop optimally. During today’s check of the trichomes, it shows that they are still milky on all four plants. A clear indication that they are still in the ripening phase. To not miss the ideal harvest time, the trichomes will be checked again on day 62. The goal is to achieve a healthy ripeness with the perfect mix of milky and amber trichomes. In this phase, only Cal-Mag and Flawless Finish from Advanced Nutrients have been used to optimally prepare the plants for harvest. The PPFD value is between 900-1000 and the DLI is between 40-50.
