Super excited to start my second grow. I feel I am lightyears away from where I started. This run I really took my time to investigate the strains. Took me weeks to decide. Also I completely rebuild my grow room on AC Infinity / Spider Farmer. The whole nine yards this time! Germination: After 35-40 hours on a heat mat at 24°C, all of the seeds popped. I transplanted in 0,7l containers into BioBizz Light Mix. I hate the brand but the light mix is really good. After another 1,5 days. The sprouts saw first light. Fun fact: The Banana Punch twinned, meaning producing two sprouts out of one seed. One shoot possesses DNA of mother and father (or second mother, because feminized, in this case). The other shoot wasn't pollinated and therefore only holds DNA of the mother, better so say: It's a perfect clone. Most second-borns are weaker and will die off after few days/weeks. You could separate the two before the roots are too entangled. I'm unsure and will wait a few days. I don't intend to raise 4 plants just so see if the crippled one makes it.

Day 8: Took the plants out of the little greenhouse on day 5 and set the humidifier to 70%. Also set a vent to a low level, so the little ones shake every now and then, forcing them to build up stability. I can't see any differences between the twins. Maybe both got pollinated? Very exciting. Maybe I will use one plant to make some hash exclusively. I'm not very happy with the temperatures for this kind of growth state. Should be two degrees higher around 23°C. All in all they look super healthy and my settings for the grow system work out well. VPD is between 0.7 and 0.8.

Day: 15-17: Raised PAR gradually to 310 PPFD. The Watermelon Zkittlez had a single Thrips on it, which didn't lay eggs. After I squished it, there didn't appear more. All in all every pheno looks really healthy. The WZ are obviously very sensible to overwatering. VPD: 0.8 (day) - 0.9 (night) Day 20: Repotted in 11l containers and mixed the substrate with GH Bio Grow (4g/l). Finished off every plant with 0,5l GH Enhancer. All root balls looked very healthy. Lights are on 30% now and providing 450 PPFD. VPD is constantly at 0.8 hPa.

Day 29: Even though I aimed for the lower edge of the advised feeding (3-4g/l) of GH Bio Gow. The plants start to show severe signs of overfeeding with Nitrogen. Leathery, weak leaves and stems, droopy picture overall, burnet tips and curling downward. Growth has almost stopped. Day: 30: To eliminate further stress, I elevated the light position and lowered the PPFD to 480-500.

Day 36: The plants slowly, slowly are recovering from the overfeeding. First LST to spread out the shoots. Plants look healthy again and are getting back to their normal growth speed. Only the Watermelon Zkittlez shows a strange, stunned growth. VPD is between 0.9-1.0 kPa. Day 40: Took off the lower big fan leaves to allow easy watering and good airflow. Day 41: All Plants show very good health again und my impression is, that even the smallest (Watermelon Zkittlez) catches up slightly. It's nice to see that all energy now goes into shoots, since I defoliated the big lower fan leaves.

Opinions: Plants now in 11l pots (for 20 days now). Plan to repot after 30 days in 11l (a week from now) to 18l and then wait for a week before flip. I wanted to mix the light mix with 0,5g/l Greenhouse Bio Grow when repotting plus top dress with 3g/l GH Bloom at flip. Too much?

Add some mycorrhyzzal that will help your roots extract all those micro nutrients. Yeah you can spice up your soil i would go lighter then heavy once its in its in. You can only add you cannot subtract. Good luck

If you dont have a ph problem. There are a few organic ways to add micronutrients to your cannabis plants. One way is to use compost teas. Compost teas are made by steeping compost in water for a period of time. This creates a nutrient-rich solution that can be applied to your plants. Another way to add micronutrients is to use seaweed meal. Seaweed meal is a dried and ground form of seaweed that is high in micronutrients. It can be applied to your plants as a foliar spray or mixed into the soil. Finally, you can also use rock dust. Rock dust is a finely ground form of rock that is high in minerals and micronutrients. It can be mixed into the soil or applied as a foliar spray. When choosing a rock dust product, be sure to choose one that is specifically designed for plants. Root death is also a very common reason for lighter new growth It's tough to get rid of completely, but we can try to slow it down. First, you'll want to repot your plant with fresh soil. Make sure the new pot has good drainage. Then, you can add some hydrogen peroxide to the water when you do water your plant – just a capful per gallon should do the trick. Also remember to let that soil dry out a bit between waterings. To figure out how long to wait, check the top inch or two of soil – it should be dry to the touch before you water again.

Hey there good looking plants let's get this figures out friend The nutrients you mentioned seems fine. If I was you I would not repot to a larger size you already have your canopy filling the tent. Plants grow a cheap ton durring flower they will fill that tent how they are now. One thing I do suggest before flipping to flower is letting the soil get dry for a few days and let the plant recover some. When plant are in veg you want to let soil get super dry in-between watering. You will see plants get perky for a period then when soil gets dry they will sag at this point is when they need water. Your plants are slightly overeatered. It's best to get that addressed before flower it will help them grow more the more vigor a plant has when put into flower the more it will teach amd more nodes it will make. Also the tips of your leaves seem like your giving plenty of nitrogen they are dark green but the new growth is light green. I think you should also check the run off water ph level to make sure the soil ph is right. Also if you have not introduced any micros this may help. I'm guessing the new growth being lighter has todo with over water or ph or lack of nutrients other than nitrogen

Day 52: So: day after I postet my question, The run off ph suddenly rose to 7,1. I couldn't help but wonder. So I checked the water analysis from my local supplier: I have super high calcium and moderate/low magnesium. This could explain that the soil (BioBizz Light Mix) can't buffer any more due to the 11:1 ratio of Cal/Mag. -- I use (cheap) citric acid to lower my ph which easily is neutralized by the calcium-kation in absence of enough Magnesium. So: I will add epsom salt to balance the CalMag ratio (water still has fitting EC level then). In addition I switched to phosphoric acid to lower my ph. This would make sense since my last grow also had these strange symptoms even thought I followed protocol. Also Day 52: light lollipopping, defoliation and FLIP to flower

Flipped to flower: Day 52 The problems with the ph still existed (7,1 in run off). I switched to phosphoric acid and use epsom salt to balance the Ca/Mg ratio to 3/1 Additionally I applied foliage spray with GH Enhancer at 0,5g/l Day 8 of flower: Still problems with trace element deficiencies. The plants stretch only a little. Didn't apply any bloom fertilizer yet, because of overfeeding before. I will do so with the next watering. Heavy lollipopping and defoliation. I hope the ladies get back on track!

Day 8: lollipopped and defoliated. Stretch is noticeable but moderate (too less). Plants show signs of deficiencies: Intervenial chlorosis of younger leaves now turns into light green color all over the plant. I will feed bloom fertilizer in 2 days. Day 10: Top-dressed with 3g/l GH Bio Bloom + 0,5g scoop grow. Day 12: Plants show signs of recovery. Of course the damaged leaves stay light green.

Soil Ph was off: 7.1. Switched to phosph. acid and use Epsom salt. Now: 6,4ph, Ca/Mg ratio at 3:1 (instead of 11:1). Used foliar spray (GH Enhancer). Ladies still show deficiencies: Now all over light green. Didn't feed Bloom due to overfeeding in grow. Will give Bloom in two day

Hello mate, i hope you'll choose one of our answer sooner or later.. however i think you waited too much to give Biobloom, remember you're using organic nutrients and you must keep in mind that the time to see any effect is always one/two weeks. Good luck and happy journey!

Day 33: WZ shows necrotic signs of micronutrient def aftermath. BP pheno 1 and WZ show purpling of sugar leaves. BP pheno 1 and BM still show severe yellowing of middle aged leaves, being a serious aftermath of zink, iron and sulfur def. This sucks so much! Aaarrgh! Resin production is insane though. Very sugary/sweet smell in the tent. Definitely the Bana Punch has its part in that! Biscotti Mintz has a very towering and pointy growth of buds. BP pheno 2 the opposite: Very compact and "round", like a dome. Watermelon Zkittlez is an absolute disappointment genetically up to now. Very low resilience to heavy feeding and lightning, which would make sense due to its sativa dominance. Also flower production is disappointing: Due to overfeeding with P in veg, flower development is really slowed down, circling into defis now. -- Basically I'm a little disappointed by the combination of Biobizz LightMix and Green House Feeding Bio. It seems that water quality can't be off a little bit. The substrate has almost no capacities to provide micros if something is just a little off.

Day 47 of flower: All ladies are looking good! :-) This week I made some worm castings compost tea and top dressed for the last time with 2 cups for 18 liters. I also installed the Blumat dripper. Sure, doesn't really make sense right now, but I just wanted to gain some experience for the next run concerning adjustment/tweaking. The smell is really amazing! All phenos now start to show their unique terp profile: - BP 1# is super exotic/ripe banana and sweet - BP 2# has a strong gassy accent to that. - WZ is just sour gummies but no watermelon - BM ist just weird so far: Limonene and some cinnamon but no biscotti or mint. Lets see! Speaking of Biscotti Mintz: This girl ist just bulking up. It's almost ridiculous how fast the buds swell. All in all: Next time I will cook ala Mr. Canucks! More tea, more castings!
