Both plants are finished with stretching and are now beginning to bulk up. I started mixing in green sensation into the res. Idk if this is a common problem but my autopot reservoir began to smell a bit moldy. I have a circulation pump running for 15 minutes each hour and started using athena cleanse. But still I have this moldy smell after some time in my res. So last time I filled in new water I did clean the tank and the pump completely with some h2o2. I hope this helps and its enough to do a complete clean like every 4 weeks or so.

@proxx87, ya I just take the pots out and rest them on a riser or other clean dry surface. Only takes a few minutes to wash and rinse out the trays if you have a sink near by. Usually I pull the valves and leave the pots in the trays while I clean them because it takes a bit longer, also I pull the rubber stoppers and squish them 8-10 times between my fingers to help keep them from firming up over time. Once valves are clean and reassembled I then remove the plants from trays and wash. I'm always amazed at how gunky they can get even with RO water and good nutrients

I find that I give my res a wipe down with wet rag once a week before filling to remove any buildup on the walls. Once every 5-6 weeks I usually pull/ the valves/trays and flush the lines with line cleaner.

@Grow_for_Happiness, oh yea wiping the walls is a good idea. You also clean the trays? Where do you put the pots in the meantime? Just on some dry surface or in another tray with nutrient solution?
