rom Seed to Sprout: A Grower’s Journey to Green Glory
Every grower's story begins with seeds full of potential, and mine was no different. Day 1 marked the start of something special — the seeds took a luxurious soak in distilled water, with a touch of hydrogen peroxide to keep things clean and fresh. At first, they floated like tiny buoys, but soon enough, they sank with confidence, signaling their readiness to embrace life. It was as if they whispered, "Let’s do this!"
By Day 2, the seeds graduated to a more refined setup: the classic paper towel method. I tucked them in snugly, ensuring they stayed warm at a perfect 24°C and basked in 100% humidity. This cozy little spa day was exactly what they needed.
Patience paid off. By Day 4, the moment every grower waits for finally arrived — the first glimpse of a taproot. Just 2 mm long, it was a tiny yet triumphant declaration: "I’m ready to grow!" The thrill of seeing that first sprout never gets old.
With germination complete, these little champions were officially prepped for their next adventure: the lush, green promise of vegetation. This was just the beginning of their journey, but already, they were thriving. Stay tuned — there’s so much more to come in this grower’s diary! 🌱
With precision care and a touch of excitement, the young plants embarked on their vegetation journey on Day 1. Each seedling was carefully nestled into a 0.5-liter pot, settling under the steady rhythm of an 18/6 light schedule. Their first "meal" was a treat — 60 ml of water enriched with Neutrog Gogo Juice Liquid Concentrate, a powerhouse blend to kickstart their nutrition journey. From that moment, watering became an art, adjusting daily to ensure their roots neither drowned nor thirsted.
Daytime conditions were dialed in for optimal growth: a steady 26°C temperature, 60% humidity, and a light perfectly positioned 30 cm above the canopy. The balance was just right, keeping the plants energized and focused on their growth.
By midweek, subtle changes hinted at the promise ahead. Tiny leaves unfurled, reaching eagerly for the light, while below the surface, roots were busy expanding their network. Each day's watering amount shifted, tuned to their growing needs. Though the plants were still shy on fragrance, their strength and vitality grew with every passing day.
As the week came to a close, the seedlings stood taller and stronger, ready to take on the next challenge in their journey to greatness. It was a solid start to what promises to be a vibrant and rewarding grow. Stay tuned — these little stars are just getting started! 🌱✨
By their second week, the plants began showing off their individuality. Their growth surged forward, with taller stems and fuller leaves proudly making an appearance. Each day, their watering routine was fine-tuned to match their growing thirst, ensuring they got exactly what they needed to thrive. No longer the fragile seedlings of Week One, these young plants were becoming sturdy, confident, and full of promise.
The environment remained perfectly balanced — steady humidity, consistent temperatures, and a light setup that delivered just the right intensity. The results spoke for themselves: healthy, even growth and vibrant energy. As the week progressed, a faint aroma teased the air, a subtle hint of the beauty yet to come.
By the end of Week Two, the plants stood bushier, stronger, and healthier than ever, ready to soak up their next dose of nutrients on Day 16. Their foundation was solid, and the future was looking lush. 🌱✨
Week Three was a transformative time for the plants as they stepped into the next phase of their journey. Starting strong on Day 15, they proudly displayed ten new leaves and reached 115 mm in height. To provide the perfect growing conditions, they were moved into a dedicated grow tent, where they thrived in stable conditions of 26.3°C and 50% humidity, with a precise watering schedule of 60 ml daily.
Day 16 marked a major milestone: the plants were transplanted into spacious 8 L pots, giving their expanding root systems room to flourish. To ease the transition, a boost of Mycorrhizal and Neutrog Gogo Juice was added, setting the stage for vigorous growth. While the transplant was a necessary step forward, it introduced temporary stress, slowing their growth slightly over Days 17 and 18. Still, careful attention — including consistent watering, the addition of a humidifier, and a nurturing environment — kept the plants steady during this adjustment period.
By Day 19, resilience kicked in. The plants began to rebound, growing to 125 mm as their roots adapted to their new digs. Humidity was adjusted slightly to 55%, encouraging a visible improvement in their health and vigor. By Day 21, the plants ended the week on a high note, standing tall at 132 mm. A nutrient-rich dose of Seasol PowerFeed gave them an extra edge, despite a minor hiccup with a humidifier leak that was quickly resolved.
Week Three was all about transition and recovery. The plants faced challenges head-on, growing stronger and more resilient, with their sights set on the weeks ahead. They’ve proven their grit — the best is yet to come. 🌱💪

Week Four brought steady progress as the plants continued to flourish under consistent care. By Day 22, they stood at a respectable 135 mm. Although the soil was slightly dry, it didn’t hinder their growth or vitality. Warmer weather arrived the following day, but the new humidifier stepped up to the challenge, maintaining ideal moisture levels and keeping the plants comfortable. After a refreshing watering with Seasol Seaweed Concentrate, they grew to 137 mm, showing excellent health.
Day 24 marked a pivotal moment as Low-Stress Training (LST) was introduced. The plants, now at 139 mm, responded beautifully, with improved structure as they adjusted to the gentle guidance. On Day 25, the LST setup was fine-tuned, with additional supports added to better position the stems. This small adjustment encouraged even development, and a dose of Seasol kept the momentum going.
As the week progressed, outward growth became more pronounced. The plants held steady in height but filled out noticeably, setting the stage for future productivity. On the final day of the week, Seasol PowerFeed was applied, and covered bud sites were carefully uncovered to improve light exposure. By Day 28, the plants stood healthy and strong, with a solid foundation laid for the challenges ahead.
Week Four was a testament to the power of consistent care and thoughtful adjustments, with the plants showing resilience and promise as they embraced their training. 🌱✨

This week marked the start of flowering, and the plants began shifting focus to bud production. They maintained a height of 145 mm but started showing clearer bud site development.
Daytime temperatures averaged 24°C, with nighttime at 23°C. Humidity steadily dropped from 61% to 52%, keeping the environment optimal. On Day 2, sticky traps were added to control pests, and a couple of minor leaf holes were monitored. The plants were watered carefully, receiving tailored doses of Seasol Seaweed Concentrate, Gogo Juice, and Bloom, all aimed at supporting healthy growth.
Low-Stress Training (LST) was used twice, at the start and end of the week, to open up more bud sites. On Day 4, a defoliation session cleared excess foliage, improving airflow and light access. By the end of the week, the plants looked fuller and ready for the flowering weeks ahead. 🌸✨

This week was all about steady progress. The plants shot up from 220 mm to 300 mm by the end of the week, thanks to a good routine and starting the Green Planet Nutrients 3 PART GP3 Feeding Chart on Day 10. They seemed to love the change, looking stronger and healthier every day.
Defoliation was the main task this week — clearing out some fan leaves to let the light reach more of the plant. It slowed growth a little after a big session on Day 13, but it’s all part of getting them ready for bigger things. A bit of LST here and there helped open up a few more bud sites.
Temps were steady at around 24–25°C during the day and 22–23°C at night, with humidity sitting comfortably between 58–62%. Watering picked up as the week went on, hitting 750 ml per plant by the end.
Nothing too fancy, just a good week of growth and setting things up for what’s to come. 🌱

This week, the plants really showed what they’re made of 🌱. Starting small, they quickly hit a growth spurt, stretching taller and filling out with lush, vibrant leaves. By midweek, they were thriving, with new buds popping through and promising a great yield ahead.
The heat tried to bring them down, but these beauties stood strong, soaking up the light and growing even bushier. By the end of the week, they’re taller, fuller, and looking absolutely fire 🔥—setting the stage for an amazing next chapter.

Last week was all about finding that sweet spot for our cannabis grow. Daytime temperatures held steady around a warm 25°C, giving the plants a cozy environment to stretch and soak up the light. Nights cooled just slightly to an average of 24°C, providing a gentle break for the plants to rest and focus on root development.
Humidity hovered around a solid 56%, keeping the air moist enough for happy transpiration without encouraging any unwanted guests like mold. This balance of warmth and humidity created the perfect conditions for lush, green growth.
The plants thrived under this steady care, showing off vibrant leaves and steady progress throughout the week. It's a reminder that when you dial in your grow space’s environment, the results truly speak for themselves. Here’s to another week of keeping the grow room thriving and the plants thriving! 🌱✨

This week was steady and productive for the grow. Daytime temperatures averaged 24°C, with nighttime temperatures holding at 23°C. Humidity stayed at a comfortable 58%, keeping the plants healthy and hydrated.
The smell of the plants grew stronger, showing they’re maturing well. On Christmas Day, the plants showed great growth after feeding, but later in the week, powdery mildew appeared. It was treated quickly with a milk-water mix, and the plants continued to thrive.
Overall, the plants are strong, healthy, and ready for more growth in the coming days.
Yo fam, Week 10 was 🔥 for the grow! The girls are really showing off now, looking super lush and healthy. The daytime temps held steady around 25–28°C, and the humidity floated around 57%, keeping everything nice and balanced.
Day 37 kicked off with a fresh feed of 1,000 ml of nutes, and man, the smell is getting STRONG. You know they're happy when that scent smacks you in the face! 🌿
Day 40 was a scorcher, hitting 28°C, so I cranked up the fans and vents to keep the air moving. Gotta protect the ladies when things get too hot!
By Day 42, the temps cooled down, which was a nice break. Gave them another solid feed, and they’re loving it. Growth is on point, stems are strong, and the canopy is looking dense.
No major issues this week—just smooth sailing. We’re right on track, and the buds are stacking up! Can’t wait to see how they pop next week. Let’s keep this momentum going! 🌿
The grow room was buzzing this week, and the plants? Absolute champs! 🌿 Day 42 kicked off with a cooler vibe—24°C—giving everyone a breather from the heat. The girls were looking lush, soaking up that perfect balance of light (18/6) and nutrients (1,000ml). Humidity sat at a chill 59%, keeping things just right. A good day to be a plant, for sure. 💧
But by Day 43, the heat started creeping back in—27°C. No nutrients on the menu that day, but the girls didn’t seem to mind. They're tough. The humidity dipped to 55%, and it was all about holding strong. 🌞
Day 44? 🔥 A scorcher at 31°C. The plants were still flexing, though, with another 1,000ml of nutrient goodness keeping them happy. Humidity nudged back to 57%, so no sweat for these warriors. They're built for this kind of hustle. 💪
Days 45 to 47 were serious heatwaves, pushing 32°C every day. The plants? Still thriving, like queens in their 20cm pots. Some days had no feeding, but they stood strong under the grow lights. 💡✨
By Day 48, the heat didn’t let up, but the girls were doing their thing... until trouble showed up. Spider mites. 😱 A quick spray of Eco Oil had them running for the hills. Crisis averted. The plants are still standing tall, buds looking fire, and the room is ready for another week of growth. 🌿💥
This week was a mix of steady growth and battles with those sneaky mites. On Day 49, the plants were still standing strong at 620mm tall. The temperature stayed hot at 32°C, and humidity hovered at 56%. With a fresh 1,000ml dose of nutrients, the girls pushed through, though a few yellowing leaves were spotted at the bottom. Nothing to stress about—just part of the grind. 🌞🍃
By Day 50, the heat eased slightly to 31°C, and it was a no-feed day. Humidity dropped to 55%, but the plants kept pushing on, flexing their resilience. 💪
Day 51 brought cooler vibes at 28°C with 57% humidity. Growth stayed on point, boosted by another 1,000ml nutrient feed. A few more leaves were yellowing at the base, but the top buds didn’t seem to care—they’re still charging ahead. 🌿✨
The cooldown continued on Day 52, hitting a refreshing 26°C. No feed that day, but the plants appreciated the break from the heat. Humidity sat at 56%, keeping things balanced. 🌬️
But by Day 53, the mites were back. Another round of spraying took care of them, and the plants stayed strong, even with some lower leaves needing removal due to yellowing. Growth was solid, fueled by a fresh 1,000ml of nutrients.
Day 54 cranked the heat back up to 31°C, while Day 55 took it even higher to 34°C. No feeds on these days, but the plants? Still holding it down like champs. Humidity danced between 54% and 55%, giving just enough moisture to keep the vibes steady. 🌡️💧
This week was all about big changes and prepping for the final stages. On Day 56, the battle with mites was officially over! Plant 1 entered its flush stage, while plants 2 and 3 got an extension—an extra couple of weeks to bulk up. With the temp at 34°C and 60% humidity, the grow room was thriving, and a solid 1,000ml of nutrients kept things on track. 🌞💧
By Day 57, the heat stayed steady at 32°C, with humidity still at 60%. No feeding today, but the plants kept doing their thing, especially with those lights (18/6) giving them a steady rhythm. 💡
Day 58 cooled down to 27°C, and humidity dipped slightly to 58%. Another 1,000ml of nutrients went to work, and Plant 1's buds were looking dense and ready. Plants 2 and 3? Coming along nicely, though Plant 2 was still struggling with some damaged leaves. 💪🍃
On Day 59, things got even cooler at 26°C and 59% humidity. No feeding today, just a steady pace as the weekend approached. 🌬️
Day 60 saw a slight heat bump to 28°C and 57% humidity. Plant 1 was declared almost ready to harvest, with Monday marked as the big day. The anticipation was real! Another 1,000ml of nutrients ensured the plants stayed in top form. 🌿🔥
The weekend wrapped up with Day 61 and Day 62, hitting 31°C and 30°C, respectively. Humidity stayed around 57%-59%, and the plants held strong without additional feeding. The grow room was buzzing, with Plant 1 stealing the spotlight as harvest day loomed. 🌟🌿
Alright, so I finally got around to trying OG Kush, and damn—it did not disappoint. From the first crack of the jar, I knew this was gonna be something good. The buds were dense, super sticky, and covered in trichomes, with that classic gassy, piney, and slightly citrusy smell that just screams heavy hitter.
First hit? Instant head buzz—felt it behind the eyes almost straight away. A few more pulls and boom, the body high kicked in hard. I was glued to the couch, full-on melting into the cushions with zero motivation to move. ️ Not in a bad way though—it was that warm, heavy, full-body relaxation that just makes you wanna chill, zone out, and let the world do its thing.
Definitely a nighttime strain for me—no chance of being productive after this one. Muscles felt loose, stress completely gone, and before I knew it, I was halfway through a bag of snacks, watching something I barely remember. Good for pain, stress, and definitely sleep.
Final Thoughts
OG Kush is a straight-up classic for a reason. It’s got that strong, couch-lock high that just hits every time. If you’re looking to fully relax, forget about the day, and maybe even pass out mid-movie, this is the one.
Rating: 9.5/10 – Absolute unit of a strain. ️
The moment finally arrived—harvest week! 🎉 After weeks of careful tending, flushing, and keeping pests at bay, all three plants were ready to come down. The process went smoothly, with each plant trimmed and hung up to dry. The buds were looking dense and frosty, with a solid structure and great aroma. 🌿🔥
After drying, the final weight came in at 181g—a huge win for a first grow! 🏆 Very happy with how everything turned out. Lessons were learned, but overall, it was a successful run from seed to harvest. Already looking forward to the next grow! 🚀💨
