I would never have waited 2 weeks for leaves to grow and pulled it out long before it got this size............however, now that it is this big, you may as well keep growing and loving this seedling.
Personally, I am not a fan of any sort of "mutation" or weirdness and am ruthless with culling any seedlings that don't meeet my extremely high expectations.
I also grow 30-40 seedlings and then pick the best 10-12 to grow through to maturity.
Like I said, I have high standards and am wanting minimal risk with plants, so this is my method.
Wasteful perhaps, but I do not ever grow "maybes" any more.
I have grown too many "maybes" over the last 40 years to know that most turn out disappointing and end up being a waste of time, effort and space.
