They're looking healthy and bushy, so I figured I might as well start their flowering.
On February 2nd I fed them with their flowering week 1 schedule (1/3rd gallon per plant) and turned lights off for 24 hours. I'll take more photos tomorrow once I turn the flowering lights on for 12/12.
On 3/2/2019 I turned the vent van on 24/7 instead of the 30 minutes on/off schedule.
Dropped the "Grow Big" nutrients to 1tsp/gal per the Fox Farm recommended schedule.
They look kinda small for this late in flowering. Hopefully I'm not doing something wrong; I've just gotta consider they look healthy. They have a lot of crystals, and smell great.
For being week 7 into flowering, my buds look small. Is this typical? Will they plump up over the next 2-4 weeks? Is there something I may be doing wrong?
Ok lets say you are in Week 4 of Flower, before its just been preflowers, If you switch to 12/12 it takes around 2 week until flowers show up, And for Week 4 they look very good, Dont hold on NUmbers, just look at the PLant, all leave are green all Hairs are white and your trichomes are probably clear/ beginning of milky, your plant will need minimum 4 week more. Look for good ventilation, Watch humidity to avoid mold. And kep that Temperature its perfect. You are already using Blooming fertilisers, look to lower them when the end comes (in anround 3 weeks) and give them MOlasses to feed the microbacerias in te soil ( helps the plant to absorb) Skip grow big.. it contains to much nitrogen, there is no need now for Nitrogen, you can add a PK booster or leave it like it is... just no more grow big
I only watered them on 3/30/2019 because some of the top-most leaves are getting burnt. I believe it may be due to light burn, and not nutrient burn, but to play it safe I raised the light and only watered with molasses.
Plant is looking good and smelling strong. It's crystalizing nicely, but it still has small(ish) buds. I cannot tell when it should be done, as the trichomes are still clear/cloudy.
I'm trying to fight off some kind of nutrient discoloration (I believe it's phosphorus). I flushed the plants on 4/8/2019 by running water at a pH of 7.2 (tap water) through the plants, letting them drain, repeat. Afterwards I gave them normal strength nutrients at a pH of 6.8. The runoff was 6.5. In 3 days I'll go back to my normal schedule of feedings.
4/15/2019 - Still dealing with my nutrient deficiency. I gave them some nutes today, but I'm going to switch to just water from here on out. Amber trichomes are starting to show up, but the other two plants are not quite there yet. I'll check again in a week.
Pretty excited for this harvest. It yielded the most out of the 3 plants I was growing. It smells great: earthy, green. Lots of crystalized sugar leaves which I left on after trying just the leaves and going to a magical rainbow land.
