Frosty Tooth by Seedstockers

The Frosty Tooth germinated within 2 days after placing it in the seedplug. I immediately placed the seedplug in the final 11L container. The soil is Plagron Allmix so I don't have to add nutrients for the first six weeks. I will add some Plagron Power Roots in the next few days to stimulate a strong root system. Let's see how this little seedling will grow in the next few days. Stay tuned for more updates and pics later this week ✌️ After the little seedling germinated it barely seemed to grow at all. My first guess was that it had to do with the low humidity (45%). In my GTools I have a humidifier, but that's not an option in the Minigrow. So I gave the seedling a mini plastic bottle greenhouse and she immediately recovered!

It took her a while, but the Frosty Tooth is settling in her cosy growbox and starting to grow a little faster. Last week there was hardly any signs of growth (at least not visible), but my guess is that it was busy growing roots first. This morning the small fanleafs were raised to the sky and the seedling looks like it's about to start growing 💪

Frosty Tooth is developing faster by the day! Almost time to switch to flowering mode, probably somewhere by the end of next week. Growing in the Minigrow One is really relaxed. No more managing humidity and temperature, this is all done with the internal fan controller. This is also the first time I use Plagron Power Roots, which helps the plant to grow a healthy root system. Stay tuned for more pics and updates later this week ✌️🌿.

Hey growmies, It’s been a while since my last update on the beautiful Frosty Tooth growing in my Minigrow One grow box. The reason for the delay? Growing in the Minigrow One is so smooth that I, as the grower, almost feel unemployed! Of course, I water her daily, but the highlight of my day is pouring the Plagron Alga Bloom into the watering can without spilling a drop 😂. As you can see, the plant remains beautifully compact and low – all without any help or LST! The lighting in the Minigrow does a fantastic job of keeping her wide and low. This week, I removed some of the large fan leaves at the bottom to make room, as there’s quite a bit happening under the canopy 😉. The side branches are developing wonderfully: low, sturdy, and perfectly balanced with the main cola. Over the next few days, I’ll remove another set of fan leaves, but for now, it’s really just a matter of sitting back and enjoying the view. Frosty Tooth is a beauty: healthy, with vibrant green, large, and strong leaves. I can’t wait to see the first “frosty” buds this lady will undoubtedly deliver! In terms of nutrients, she’s getting a daily mix of Sugar Royal, Alga Bloom, and Power Buds. Power Buds, in particular, worked wonders during my previous grows, producing dense, trichome-rich buds. I’m incredibly happy with Plagron’s organic nutrient line – it’s been absolutely spot-on. That’s it for now! Next time, I hope to show you the first buds forming. The Minigrow switched to the flowering phase yesterday. I extended the vegetative phase a couple of times to give her a bit more time, but now the moment has finally arrived ✌️🍀.

I'm still feeling like a lazy grower with the Minigrow One doing all the LST 😅. The growlights make sure the plant stays naturally short and bushy. There's not much work to do but make sure she's hydrated. I may have to defoliate one of these days but that's about it. No buds showing just yet, let's see if they develop in the coming days!

Hey growmies! ✌️ Time for another update on the Frosty Tooth growing in the Minigrow One. We’re currently at day 19 since switching to the bloom phase, and the first signs of bud development are starting to show. The buds are still small, but it’s a promising start! The plant is staying incredibly compact, but the leaves are growing in abundance. To give her some breathing space, I had to do two rounds of heavy defoliation. The difference is already noticeable—she looks much tidier and healthier now. 🌱 I’m really curious to see how much she’ll stretch as the buds continue to develop. I’ve heard that the buds can grow so tall they almost touch the protective glass below the grow light without getting burned. Let’s put that to the test and see how far she can go! 😅

The plant experienced a noticeable stretch last week, and the branches are now quite close to the LEDs. While the buds aren't at risk of burning, I decided to supercrop the tallest branches to prevent them from blocking light to the lower ones. Additionally, I removed a lot of leaves to ensure adequate airflow and reduce the risk of bud rot in the coming weeks. To further enhance airflow, I installed an extra fan at the back of the Minigrow. The installation was straightforward: using a cable adapter, I connected both the existing fan and the new one to the fan controller. Last week I tried to manage the plant’s height, but unfortunately, I failed miserably 😐. The top buds and branches grew way too close to the diffuser panel (and even beyond), resulting in some serious light burn. To prevent further damage—both to the plant and the LEDs—I decided to move her to my GTools growbox in a last-ditch effort to save her. As you can see, the top buds and leaves are definitely not in their happiest state right now. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but I always knew this grow would be about learning the growbox’s capabilities and, more importantly, its limitations. Looking back, I can see a few things I could’ve done differently: • Extending the grow cycle was a mistake, as it allowed the plant to outgrow its space. • A smaller pot might have kept the plant’s size more manageable. • Defoliation earlier in the grow also encouraged the plant to stretch more than I expected. I’ll be avoiding these pitfalls in my next run. Honestly, I think I let my fear of the plant being too small get the better of me, which led to me delaying the switch to the bloom schedule. Next time, I’ll put my trust in the Minigrow’s programming and see how it performs. It’s all part of the learning curve, and I’m determined to do better next time. This round was far from optimal, but given the circumstances the Frosty Tooth delivered some tasty buds covered in resin! Next time I'm sure the results will be better
