The rare Dankness strain was tough to find in canada so I obtained some from Seedsman. They are expensive but as a plant it was top drawer genetic. The plant grew was never really stressed apart from the time I snapped the top cola trying to get a look at the trichomes. 121grns from one plant is really good. Again I struggled in height in my tent the Sativa plants really do stretch. I will add another addendum to this post once I have smokers the cured bud. Looking forwards to it. Update July. I gave some to my son and his friends and they confirm this is basically the best strain they have smoked to date period!. So my recommendation is get some seeds from the seeds man bred by rareDankness the quality is top drawer. Update July 29th gave some to my buddy’s everyone has come back with the thumbs up simply best strain they have smoked.

Guys question related to germination. I have had 100% success up til this week. I soak 24 hrs then inside towel for 12 hrs then into the AeroGarden. I have 8 seeds success from 8. Until I tried this sour diesel which I had zero success 3 from 3 any tips to make them go.

It can be due to different external parameters but the better I to wait and if they don't germinate after 2 weeks than write a mail to the breeder: Many of then are sending you fresh seeds in case of seed that does not germinate in the perfect conditions 😊👍

@Spinnercaribbean is right 😁👍 but i wouldnt add cal/mg or any other non organic nutrients. Just to avoid a strong soil(coco). It is easier to feed her if she has a deficit, than fighting with an overfeeding from start 😅✌️

i have a specific question on light par and watts etc. What is the min par value required for one plant. for seedlings, veg , flowering and budding. does anyone have a definitive guide for this??

Its hard to say definitive but they are the best/optimal ranges. So For Clones/seedlings/mothers 200-400 PPFD/PAR is optimal for them. A 400-600 PPFD/PAR is great for early veg to late veg when I say early I mean after the seedling stage. And 600-900 PPFD/PAR is great for Late veg into Flowing Fruiting Stage. Once you get over 1000 your getting into the double ended light and Co2 territory because it Is no longer light limited but carb limited therefor the need for Co2. That's why 600-900 PPFD/PAR is best balanced for efficiency and performance Other factors can have effects on growth as well like environment conditions and the biggest role is genetic. but as for the PPFD/PAR those are pretty much the Numbers most go by as rule of thumb you know. Happy Growing!!🙏

Guys what’s the opinion on flawless finish for flushing. I have read on many forum sites that it does not do anything does anyone have any experience with such a solution. I have used it for the first week to flush the plants and I will use it for two days of the second week.

I have used the AN line on my grows they have some great products. Using flawless finish on my grows in my opinion it does help with getting excess nutes/salts,metals out of your pots. I'm growing in soil so I try to do a 2 week flush. When I'm doing my first flush I let my pots dry out a bit more than usual. I add flawless finish to my R.O. water then saturate the pots with the solution to the point of slight runoff first thing in the morning. I leave them like this for 4-6 hours. Then flush with "ph correct" R.O. water ( You can use distilled water also or low ppm tap water) until I get the runoff to under 100 ppm or lower. Then I use flawless finish in the last bit of flush water. I repeat this process for the first week only letting them dry out a bit before the next flush. During the last week I use plain ph correct R.O. water until runoff ppm consistently stays around 50-75 ppm. By this time you'll see her draining the nutes from her leaves. There's a lot of opinions on flushing you really need to try using a flushing solution on a few plants and just plain r.o. water on others then compare the final product for desirable smells, tastes and smoothness. I am an occasional smoker and quit smoking cigarettes 30 years ago so I'm a bit more sensitive to coughing caused by harsh weed. I definately feel FF gives you smoother smoking buds. Light up with a few friends and ask their opinion also.

Hi mr. hat, can you let the tent open for lower rh=? or more airflow? i fear for mold...
Mrs_Larimar
Mrs_Larimarcommentedweek 106 years ago
You can do some supercropping on them to stabilize and slow them alittle, HST is an option too Also you can lower the light to make them dwarfing alittle, but not to near to burn them

Mrs_Larimarcommentedweek 76 years ago
I think your plant is to near to the light she shows "lightburn", and i would give her a good shot calmag in the next watering

Cool, I see you flipped at week 8. If I wanted to do this in a 2x4 scrog. Do you think 10 weeks of veg would be long enough. or would you think a little more time would be needed

@mrhat2001, Thanks for a well documented journal. Your GTH looked great. I have to many plants going I think lol I maybe doing this in a 2x2 scrog now. I have 8 plants going. It looks like I may need to flip at about 10 weeks to fill a 2x2. I am sorry I didn't get over here a little more to follow this closer. I see you have done a lot of plants. You also were given some miss information here as well In coco, You want to use cal mag at every feeding as well as watering. I my self start with 1/4 tsp and then go to 1/2 per gal in flower. I also use GH flora trio as you may have seen. My GTH will be a week old tomorrow. I would add all in here in diary's but this site always seems to have to many issues to fight with. Thus the reason I have not updated my others ones. I have been away for a while. So I will try and up date those. if it works I will start new diary's for all of my plants. You finished a nice grow here 👍

@justright, I think it’s ok to flip at 10 weeks ensure you have the room they seriously stretch, I haven’t tried any SGROG yet I am always afraid of not getting access to the plants.

This is a great grow. I will be starting one in 2 weeks. I see you are going to cut her down soon. You know that are still a ways from here being finished, right. This is a 9 - 12 week flowering plant. From the pictures I see. You still have a lot of white pistols. If you giver her another couple weeks. She will really fatten up for you. I also grow in coco and use the same nutes that you do. I see if was 2 weeks ago since you last posted. I will be interested in seeing your out come. Very nice plant though.

@justright, she has one week to go from today been flushing for 4 days, no white pistals and cloudy trichromes.

Amazing strain bro! If i’m not mistaken, it’s the strain from which PEDANIOS (a strain that countries buy for their medical marijuana program) was made! Will grow it for sure! Check me out bro! Thanks

@mrhat2001, Hi if you try to rise the Humidity of your Growroom your plants will grow much better than now http://www.just4growers.com/media/23631/vpd_2degree.gif The plants love it to get the humidity in that schedule, they develop much better

Nice grow buds look great. Just wanted to suggest raising your lights up a bit. In a couple of photos you can see the leaf blades curl up/ dried up along their length on the upper colas. This is a sign of heat stress/leaf burn. They're pretty much done bulking up at this point. It's important to preserve the THC/terpenes by keeping the buds cooler. Have a great harvest.
