hey guys so my welsh brother sent me some daffodil seeds called FTB1 from the Fast Buds company, and if i'm honest with you i'm so happy to be growing next year's autos, always been a dream of mine to grow the unreleased genetics, let's see if they sprout, i'm a bit nervous because they came unwrapped in the mail you know ... let's see. alright so first thing that happened is my propagator broke so i had to fix it up best i could with some cling film then threw it in the bathroom in the sink basically lol, day one many of the non test gens cracked and were growing, and fbt1 didnt yet, and i was like oh well, it was a long shot, it came loose in the mail, and it breaks my heart. Day 2 it had cracked and day 3 it had shot through the cube, check out the cookies week you can see the root sticking out from the bottom already, in the end it's definitely some strong gens and i cant wait to see it grow !
transplanted the FBT1 to the forever home two days ago, a bit early but that propagator had the broken lights. So i just used the cell max soil with around 15% organic peat and hopefully around 25% more perlite but maybe less lets see. For this one just gonna be using my micro, my new watering technique, some spray and that's basically it unless the cellmax gets depleted or i see anything i dont like coming on. I had some mycotex left over so i just used it, put two spoons directly into the hole, made sure the plug was touching and watered with bactrex 1g/L dissolved first then 10ML orgatrex for 2L of water . The official account @biotabsF69 uses 20ml but i just followed the instructions on the label like a mf noob, oh well. the pink stuff is my own flower micro creation : calcium , magnesium and iron which gives it that pink color. the whit stuff is early veg micro which is cal mag and that's it. added 1 gram per L, hopefully not that much that it destroys my seedling. more photos coming this week, but you know... it's a seedling through a macro lens lol. fun starts when i try out my very own co2 technique - stay chuned!
VPD 0.5 after spray to 1.1 at -1°C before spray
FBT1 was the runt for a while but recovered from the shock of overwatering nicely and is now thriving and working through the moist medium - have a good feeling about this one !
FBT1 did not like being transplanted at all ! i guess being overwatered stressed her out some, good thing it's early in a way, hopefully she wont be permanently slower 🙏 lol , anyway she's basically healthy now, although last time i watered her it was tuesday last week and now it's friday, medium is still wet though, so no water for her until she dries out some more. Realised i hadnt been spraying my kelp carefully enough the week before so i'm spraying the soil with amino to try to keep pH basically fine until i can water with cal mag and hopefully some co2 enriched water. I pHed down the spray with 0.1g of GHE dry pH down powder to 6.0... rain water is pH 5.5 so i'm okay i think. anyway fbt1 in mrB's so easy i didnt even have to water this week lol. check out the videos, let me know ! 🚀
This strain is growing stouter, having suffered more from underwatering, ended up watering start of the first day , just plain water no aloe for FBT1 although it could probably use some lol only watered my cal mag for the first time at 120 ppm and that's it , spraying amino on the soil, this one will get two sprays this week of kelp and cal mag most of the work is happening downstairs but it's opened up its 3rd node by now. really wish my co2 would be done, it's most important during veg 🚀 she's just cruising for now, most of the work is happening downstairs, bending for her just LST on her leaves 🚀
FBT1 is pulling through, i was a bit nervous before because it was runty, turns out it's just growing slow :-) it's still stocky and short but it's really stiffened up now, still no smell but it's stems and stalks are now stiff and it looks all around healthy. I'm not fussed it's slow because i'm guessing it will be on par with the six shooters time wise. Cant wait to harvest this, but it's just pushing out pistils at this point, i'm expecting another week of veg then 4/5 weeks of flower, let's see !
FBT1 is turning out to be a nice surprise, completely caught up, starting its flower stretch in earnest now. I'm really liking it's structure, stocky, stiff stems, thick leaves, tight internode spacing and bud sites coming on nicely. FBT1 got a co2 feeding, a foliar spray with kelp and micro, and a feeding with micro and beneficials. It's drinking more too, 3 more pints a week a total of 9 pints this week ! I went from worried to optimistic for this one ! Now the fun begins ! Hopefully i can get some nice macro pics in for y'all ! any suggestions or comments welcome 🚀

this week is the start of what looks like is gonna be a couple weeks of really interesting flower growth. I think it's the period where the plant starts really buffing out its flowers and becoming a nice flowering plant. branches are stiffer than they used to be, still no training, and no nutes. Not showing any deficiencies , not showing any nutrient burn. Spraying twice with straight kelp no micro because there's still residu on the leaves from last time. I really love this period of growth, you can see the plant get fatter almost daily, check out the top viewsi tried to capture that process ... anyway it's just a happy and healthy plant, not putting out color, just putting out a light smell nothing too crazy... yet ! Let's see what the future brings for this mystery strain ! Enjoy 🚀
This week was abosultely facinating, this one's leaves got dark blueish hues on it and just went about stacking on weight. Watered her once with 4 pints plain waterknew i was going away so i stacked the pot flush full of plain water before i left. Now that the canopy covers ever inch of the tent humidity is sticking better both at the right level and in terms of evaporation , sort of like the ying and yang of plants drinking and the extractor drinking lol. Right before i left i checked the site & i have half a mind that this one may very well be the dos-si-dos auto which would be so blessed lol when i got back the leaves were really 🙌 praying for it, but otherwise not really showing any stress or deficiency symptoms, it's probably quite hungry actually. Watered with three pints of humic acid just to activate the rest of the nutes as i think i'll do the biotabs pk on this one next week along with the rest of the cookie gens. sprayed with micro a few times and micro + kelp once.
I just love the look of this plant, at this point what i can say is she weathered the propagator to final home transplant not so well, smaller than the rest, could be because she's a corner plant? anyway I love the look of this lady, fat indica leaves with a blue-ish hue to them. the flowers have those trademark sugar leaves and the structure i love, so let's see how she ends up growing. plain water week this week 3x 3 pints of plain water, started 10 days of calmagsulfur spray this week, did 4 days so far.
Uneventful week, upped the micro in the feed to 2gs /L that's 400PPM total , going on a trip so setting up some autopots on trays with some perlite on the top to protect from the humidity, let's see how well that does ! she's starting to really concentrate full time on making these great structured buds, just wish they were going to be even fatter ! maybe I'll cross the 12 weeks threshold this time, just trying to follow her cycle, water in the morning, make sure she's not too hot, and watching her grow 🙏 some of the trichomes are already starting to pray, she's really oily, I'll do the PK tea when i get back home . I just pray the autopot dont flood my downstairs neihbours!
Decent week away for the FBT1, showing some signs of heat stress, light stress, but no real deficiencies yet, so it's got that going for it, even though it's position in the tent meant it got less light and grew small... what i had done was to put perlite in my tray then bottom feed plain water for the time i was gone. So she did pretty well for it all things considered. she was bottom fed 2cm, meaning around 6 liters over the course of the week. Meanwhile the trichomes are getting ripened, reaching out, havent really curled yet, not fully, not most of them. I reckon she's got at least two weeks left on her maybe more, so I did feed her with Biotabs PK and my own micro. She was basically fully dry when i found her, so after a day on the bubbler, the tea went into the pot. See you next week !
FBT1 had a tough recovery week with sky high temps , even at night ! only two watering of 4 pints each plain water, she's drinking less in a way. Nearing the end of her life, her trichs are almost all milky, raised her so she's reaching the light for the end of her life at least. trichome coverage is incredible, they're getting in eachother's way almost ! Still healthy as can be, no signs of deficiencies yet, so praying for a nice finish, let's see! 🚀
Another week just cruising for the FBT1 : looks like she bulked just a bit. The last of the trichomes has turned cloudy, she's all cloudy now, no amber. So that means this is the last week before harvest ! She's also just wrapped up her third week of flush and last week of additive flush. Hopefully she'll be super smooth and delicious ! Right now she absolutely reeks of sour lemons , means she's gonna be a strong one I hope ! Clipped a few fan leaves and gonna chop her down and hang her whole. She's gonna be dried for a bit more than 12 days then jarred . Let's see what happens ! 🚀
