The FBT5, a red strain sent to me by my welsh brother Z to the Pharma, this and the other one he sent me are gonna be my first red strains, though i was growing reds last time but i wasnt lol, so this is it, let's see how i do , hope they sprout ! I dipped these seeds overnight in water with a few drops of my specially made kelp extract and then I basically followed the RQS instructions for their propagator https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gt1-geupkt8 comes with this brown powder... no idea what it is though lol ! well i was nervous it wasnt gonna sprout but it very well did on day 2 and had roots sticking out day three, gave her a tea spoon of water on day 3 and transplanted her on day 5. Let's see how the purple punch does ! 🚀

So FBT5 was transplanted early to her forever home which is a 5 gal pot with perlite on the very bottom then alternating layers of peat moss and cellmax soil with Mr. B's bloom and veg dry ferts mixed in following @mad_scientist 's method which is 5gs per L of media ... i followed his advice because i simply didnt understand how to convert the measurements correctly lol. Seriously though c'mon i should be able to do the math and Mr. B's should be able to give us measurements in normal people speak. will update with more pics later this week , stick around let's see how she does ! 🚀watered with 2 more l of plain water on day 3 now it's naught until after the weekend i hope 😅 VPD : 0.5 after spray at -3° - 1.3 at -1°C before spray

FBT5 in Mr. B's has been no trouble at all so far, still moist in there so i've not watered on day 5, spraying the soil with amino, did one foliar this week on day 5. Probably will fix the fan over the weekend so it's pointing straight up. FBT5 is an interesting one, vigorous in many ways, it seems to be working hard below grownd . anyway I'll try to get an in soil pH reading on the Mr. B's asap. but it will mostly be secondary nutrients and co2 from now on.

bottom of week 3 and no spray yet, will do it top of next week, so only one spray thi week, waterered once top of the week then again on friday. No lst for this one, she's in the corner, but i've got the light dialed in nicely and she'll be getting plenty of light to thoe nodes once i tart lst next week. Not going to try to break the aprex dominance on this strawbs lol . watered once with aloe, two spoon spoons full and some cal mag, then only plain water once , three pints at a time, finished with the daily amino spray, next week it's one spray top of the week one at the bottom, early flower micro, beneficials and that's it. still waiting on my CO2 but what to do such is life 🚀 This pheno so far, grew really vigorously straight up, no leaf action, and suddenly separated its leaves, going into preflower with gusto as are all the plants in the tent. Had the temperature a bit high, but just turned up my fan slightly and it's back at a cozy 23.8 /24 humidity dropping as quickly as you can hope for a soil grow basically. i'm adding beneficials a bit early because i'm paranoid as hell about molds and bugs and such , especially with the sun rearing it's face 🌞 that's it for this week, see you next week i'll be just watching these do their veg stretch, folloling them with lst and keeping up with her cycle bless up 🚀

FBT5 is a grower not a shower lol vigorous growth this week, doubling in size almost, had been showing pre flowers before but started really showing in earnest this week, then flowering started, so you can that this strain is a quick one for sure! i might get up to the fabled 8 week auto i've been chasing. didnt get much this week a plain water watering then a CO2 watering with some 100PPM when my CO2 caps finally came through. Sprayed with co2 only once (shouldve been doing that a day break daily... oh well!) and apart from that that's basically it. Nice thick indica leaves that are nice and green... the slightest , microscopiest bit of nutrient burn , buy i used dry nutrients at the start so nothing i can very well do lol oh well, still gonna follow it with micro and beneficials next week. that's it ! enjoy !

Well uhm this week has been a trip and a half the plant doubled in size and started bleeding black and purps ! it's my first experience growing a black strain so please forgive me if I gush more than warranted. anyways, no defoliation for her, no training, no nutes as of yet, but she does have the slightest bit of nutrient burn on the leaves, it's not spread or got worse so i'm happy. Still watered her with my micro and beneficials mix and sprayed her some with my red micro and kelp foliar spray, she seems to really need and like the micro. Also she's drinking one more watering a week, that's 3 waterings a week now ! What a great grower so far, i wouldn t be surprised if I'm chopping her down in 3 to 4 weeks ! thanks for dropping by and please do drop me a message or a suggestion if you have any...

This week has been absolutely fascinating, hence all the pics lol. Again, it's my first black strain so sorry if I'm being over the top effusive lol. Anyway she's been litterally packing on weight, doubling in size on the buds maybe even more, she started out with buds the size of my thumb now they're twice that. the purple colors have been "bleeding" outwards towards the leaves, it's beautiful to see. I was gonna add PK top of the week, but I decided against it as the plant has just the tiniest bit of nute burn already. I noticed putting a black light to it you can really notice problems like that nute burn and other stuff. just a tip if you're having trouble seeing issues or even better to find out about them early. You'll be able to see them coming on before you could without the black light. Cool beans. Anyway, this plant is a beast, she buffed out, looks like she needs a shitton of micro more than other kinds of plant, she's sensitive to nutrients, clearly. That's why i'm not really watering with anything else than micro and beneficials this week. She got two plain waters and one micro and bacterials . No spray for her, i dont want to put kelp on my bud, they're a bit too fat already. Looks great so far, seems on track for an 8 week grow, but i'm in no rush and will be starting to check on trichomes next week, let's see ! 🚀

Checked the trichomes top of the week i was like woah already all cloudy and some ambers, maybe 5-10% clear on the main cola, checking the secondaries next week. Put on a shitton of weight last week, love her sugar leaves so far, i just like bud with that kind of structure over the thiner colas. Tripled in width basically, and like i said i was pretty surprised by that. Knew i would be away so i let her go over by a day, she didnt seem to care, watered her with four pints of 1g/L humic acid, was my first time using dry humic acid so after i watered i noticed most of it had clumped in at the bottom. Oh well, when i got back i wanted to water her with twice as much bearing in mind the dose is set at 2.5g/L but instead i messed up and did 1.5gs but mixed in better lol Anyways, glad i started her on the additives for the flush i have a feeling she's going to be ready next week 😱 sprayed with micro a few times and micro + kelp once.

Last week before chop week ! she's grown tall with long side colas making those beautiful flowers you see here, the larger top flowers are just starting their little foxtail thing they do at the end thanks @rastafari for paying attention 🙏 pretty glad I started the humic when i did, just managed to squeeze in 12 days of humic watering for the additive flush , slowly working my way up from 0.75 to 1.5 g/L bearing in mind the recomended dose is 2.5/g because these are in Mr.B's dry nutes and i dont want to shock her with lock outs at this stage. These will get a plain water watering then get chopped the very next day (night?) so they'll have plenty of water retained for the drying. This week the trichomes basically matured, curled inwards in a way, they're all milky now, have a few ambers here and there. Some of the pistils have started to oxydize already, she's just about ready. Cant wait to strip her down ! Yum ! 🚀

Well FBT5 got chopped on day 65 from seed, she's really frosty, really purple, and smells like sour lemon skunk and bit louder than i remember from when she was in the tent. She basically shot out of the seed, grew straight up, started getting tall, tappered off height-wise then pushed her secondaries almost as high as her main cola. She had one more flower node and longer secondaries than your standard 90% rudiralis-fare , like when i grew auto tutankhamon , this one ended up having like a few more flower nodes. Got a 143gs wet, so I'm expecting something like 50gs "dry" out of this one, hopefully that's 35gs cured. Will probably end up smoking this one waiting on my other gens to get harvested. Not a bad experience, she was beautiful to look at, probably didnt fill out the 5 gal though. I'll put growing notes and tasting notes in next week . Enjoy the pics !

2 months and 3 days this auto is a killer, I put her in a 5 gallon pot, because why not? well first of all her root ball was tiny i'd be surprised if she went all the way down actually. You'd easily fit her into a 2L pot and get a ball park result. I might add a few in my next grow to fill the space beween the tray and the wall I have just enough space for one row in a 4x4 that's like 8 plants lol . If i do that I'll cross her side colas in front of her so there's no damage with the tent when it get sucked in when it's closed. What I really want to do is to do a full tent with these little pots, maybe do it SOG coco, because you can get a shit ton of the small pots in there then pull a decent amount of bud - strength in numbers! The harvest went okay, went in chopped it down at like < 5% ambers all milky not clears. hung it up to dry, it was moist the first three days but then on day 4 it dried out almost instantly, i pulled it and jarred it with boveda 62% (I couldnt find the 58s anywhere??) stems and all, prayed for 10 days, didnt open them, no burping necessary, not really with what happened and the boveda in there. Came out incredible. Strong, like I said, really smooth smoke, snow white ash, and it litterally tastes like grapes. Can't believe it how much it tastes distinctive, i'm guessing the rudiralis cross really supports the grapey taste. when you're pulling the smoke is sweet and a grapes, and it's not other berries, it's really grapes. For sure one of the better smokes I've ever had, and I smoked some GSCxGrape cross recently, these reminded me of that smoke but better on the grapes-side of things, still earthy though maybe a hint of coffee... The plant itself grew just like other rudiralis-dominant strains I've had, straight up in a pinetree shape, side colas grew almost as tall as the main cola the end. She had really thick indica leaves, amazing green colors on the stems even after the chop, that contrasted with the incredibly dark purple and royal purple flowers. Straight from the start of flower the purnurples started creeping straight from the flower nodes onto the leaves. Their coloration process was really amazing to watch happen purples literally bleeding onto the leaves. as she flowered, her nodes opened up in typical "strawberry"-strain fashion, like making those nice open flowers, full of trichomes and sugar leaves covered in trichs and oil. Loved it ! She didnt really smell that loud until the very end then she really smelled strong like lemon peel, a testament to how strong she actually is. If I find the space, i'll try to make some extracts from a full tent, probably the best vape juice anyone ever has tasted.
