Out of 3 black gushers seeds. Only 2 were what I'd call not stunted. And I culled a lot of my seeds this year. As I've been running germination ratio tests. Which has left me more phenos which I can choose the best to keep. Here you see there's 2 BCG phenos that are really nice and fast. So, all the seeds in this pot have been selected for there speed and overall vigor. Seeds that hardly threw out any taps i counted as fully germinate (but if it lags typically its NOT a great pheno to get quick grow results from) this doesn't mean the plants won't be big. I just don't need any runts. Last few weeks have been going really well. Had a slight calmag issue early on. But, they're flying along. There was 7 plants in this 20L pot. All have been removed except Black ⚫ Gushers. And 2 RS11s from Kannabia. Master root & enzymes + calmag have been daily or every 2nd day this past week. As there was a lot of plants in the pot. 1-1.5L of fluids was taken in daily at 7 plants so around 100-150ml a day. + the soil was all mix and they'd eaten through that really early. So, I did start applying Master Grow more than once a wk in small doses of 2-300ppm. Ph'ed everything to 6.7-8 all is going super well. This week I'll remove both plants and cause a lot of stress. But, being fems they'll have lots of time to recover. I've applied Silica Force to strengthen up my girls before hard transplanting. Update, So, seems 1 BCG is growing good & I've 1 runt. Black Cherry Gushers finally has been separated. I ended up topped 1 BCG & 1 RS11 and what happened was the 2 untopped phenos grew over & shadowed the topped ones in. Knowing this. I couldn't do anything until I moved grows into my flower tent. Thankfully today I uppoted 90% of what was needed doing. Next week I'll be moving LEMON CHERRY GELATO into the flower tent giving me more space for my new autos. Within 2-3weeks I'll be pulling 3-5 plants over that time period allowing me to start & conplete phase 2 of this crop. Last crop I did over 50 phenos. This one I'm doing 25. (Some pots have double seeds, but counted as 1 plant). Week 6 of Black Cherry Gushers and a lot of the strains in that pot have their own space now to thrive. Keeping the untopped BCG in the 20L pot (about 17-8L full) in there own her own. She's going to be vegged for another 3-4 weeks. Soon I'll get in there & play doctor. And start removing what needs to be taken and allow her focus more on what parts are growing strong. I'll also be looking to open her up, I will sink 3-4 3ft bamboo shoots down the side of the pot allowing me to pull it all making for a big pheno. (I will also be removing clones from this girl & back-breeding to create my own BlackCherryGushers/LemonCerryGelato seed stock. I will also be trying to get my hand on some ruderails and make an auto version. Or if I get a LOVELY auto (will be testing some mephisto soon, and have purposely picked 2 good strains I think will complement each other very well. DAY 34 Topped Pheno2/ transplanted The 2nd topped pheno looks in a sorry state. I'm going to try & breath new life into her. It'll either bring her back from being a 6 week old runt or she'll die from extreme shock. If she does pull through I will use a different brand of nutrients (Atami coco parts A+B and a few of their bloom boosters) I've added Silica & enzymes for the 1st feed. I do hope she survives. I will 'feed her in a few hours. If she pull through the shock she can then focus on feeding. She's been put in a 9L pot, with reused hydro substrate. 70% pebbles/30%coco. Fed 350ml of silica & enzymes ph'ed to 5.65. Her roots are very small but has a good head of them to rapidly spread. I give her a 70/30 chance, in favour of surviving. Day 45 After going through a hard week recovering pheno 1 of black cherry Gushers has recovered somewhat and is been set to flip. The topped pheno didn't make it. (The pic with the roots) it was 40/60 against. So, im happy the main untopped one recovered & been through some large fans removed. And will be a nice plant hopefully in a few weeks. It's been vegging enough. Black Cherry Gushers is doing awesome. Had some light mag issues but she's pult through Weeks 7-8 I ran mostly during veg, during week 7 I tried open her up a bit and let a lot of shoots develop.
