2025-01-22 Start of Week 6 :) had to readjust the lights distance again, since SC stretched quite a bit more than BM. Guess, BM will get a bit less light than SC since the 20cm hight difference. Had a little issue with the blumat, the reservoir ran empty and when I filled up, air was trapped in the system. while fixing the air issue, I forgot to check soil moisture (which was way too dry, since the system was not working for about 3 days), so, the blumats were wide open and a lot of water ran through, which then kinda flushed the soil a bit until I noticed and readjusted the blumat. BM: 40cm FLO: 15cm SC: 58cm 2025-01-24 Some damaged leaves on BM and SC, didn't want to intervene in this grow, but i was thinking about light defoliation, since BM is kinda compact with a lot of fan leaves... FLO is ... something like stretching :D BM: 40cm FLO: 19cm SC: 60cm 2025-01-26 The more I read online about this, the more confused I am of whats going on 😝 So far, claws, slightly burned leaf tips, and dark green leaves, especially during veg, were symptoms of overfeeding, at least I thought so. TIL, claws and dark leaves might also be signs of over watering, burned leaf tips alongside the rusty spots, in combination with "sharp edged" leaves and slightly purple coloring might be caused by light stress ( as per this journal, spot symptoms were first noted 3 days after setting intensity to 100%) see: https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/light-burn Since I changed the display on my phone, I don't trust the integrated light meter calibration, so any app reading to determine PPFD or DLI is to be taken with caution. I found a lot of opinions on PPFD in regards to autos. Some say a max of 700PPFD is sufficient, some say bigger lights for bigger buds ... Since I have no means of reliable measurement, I can only trust the datasheet. That would mean, they get about 900PPFD at the moment, I would need to change settings to 80% to approx. match 700PPFD, even at this setting, the DLI (some say about 40 - 45) [ https://growlightmeter.com/lighting-requirements-of-cannabis-over-the-full-grow-cycle/ ] is beyond 50 (IF I trust my smartphones reading!) then again, if they are not overfed but over watered, this might be Phosphorus deficiency as far as the rusty spots go, at least, and right on time of high P demand ... as for the PH level: as far my understanding of organic soils, it should be able to buffer for some PH fluctuations / imbalances. In which boundaries tho, idk. So, rebalance water PH dim lights readjust the blumats for dryer soil I actually wanna understand whats happening here, so changing everything at once doesn't seem helpful. I turned the intensity down to 60% and cut out the most damaged leaves. Don't have PH down at hand, so this will take day or so BM: 40cm FLO: 19cm SC: 60cm 2025-01-27 Nearing end of week 6! turning the drip system down to let the pots dry up a bit helped with the dropping leaves. I will readjust the blumats tomorrow to match the current soil moisture level. as for the damaged leaves ... well, the small rusty spots didn't gain much in size since yesterday, so maybe turning down the lights was helpful, but can't tell yet. advanced damages keep getting worse, those leaves will have to go off, too. Yellowing of older leaves did increase tho. PH down is on it's way and should arrive tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. BM: 40cm FLO: 21cm SC: 60cm

Is this a calcium deficiency ? given the soil mixtures (recipes in germ. week) unlikely. since they only get tap water, i checked the values Ca2+ 65.6 mg/l Mg2+ 17.3mg/l that's an 3.8:1 ratio. PH is 7.6, I never checked that tbh. doesn't the soil compensate for that?

You have something going on here for some time. The entire plant looks yellow. Initially indicating a N deficiency. However, PH must be correct between 6-7, or everything else is a guess as to what is wrong. Trying to do a multiple correction is okay if you’re experienced, on the other hand it can surely kill the plant if guessing wrong. Whatever is yellow will not recover in this case. Try to save what is still green-ish. Correct your PH first, see if there is an N deficiency next and correct it. Be careful with your lights at this point, a burn will be easy.

A pH of 7.6 will make the calcium unavailable,............max 7.0 pH for soil. Your plant also has a major phosphorous deficiency. How can soil "compensate" for anything?
