Hoping for these three to go into the 60 x 32in tent in 3/4 days. Currently finishing off two Mango Isle F2. They will be going into large eazyplug pyramids, and I have four viparspectra xs1500 pro . Pyramids will be soaked with a 200ppm solution of 1part micro 1part grow and 1 part bloom. GP3. plus some H2O2. All through this grow I will be detailing the exact mix of GP3 Nutes consisting of Micro Grow and Bloom. This is the same as the G.H nutes which are also Micro Grow Bloom. They are interchangeable. I will be using nute ratios and ppm based on the very latest scientific university research data.

They all came up within 3 days and they've been very fragile looking but that's how my last night owls looked so I know they'll be hitting their stride soon. The bean that started with the bent leaf is looking normal but it's a little behind, so it's one to keep an eye on. Otherwise from what I've seen this Blue Power is fast to frosty up. I have done nothing since planting the plug into the pyramid, no water or nutes, in fact I won't be adding any nutes till the beginning of week three, until then just plain pH6 water with some H2O2.

During second week plugs were watered from the outside using plain water twice. At the beginning of week three all three plugs were soaked with a nutrient solution of 16ml Micro 24ml Grow and 8ml of Bloom, in 10L of water. Plus some H2O2 plus pH up to 6. approximately ppm of 600 I have constructed new light shields made from plastic board which I am hoping will give a better root die off without algae build up. The algae does't harm the plant but it is annoying.

I am pretty disappointed with the bad structure on all three of these which appears to be fairly common with the BPF4's. Undergrowth is twisted and weird, I have topped them all at d19 which might not have been a good idea considering the already strange growth but I still feel that gives me more control. I'm sure that whatever grows will produce a decent bud, it's just a matter of how to maximise yield on this type of stunted bean. I'll see how they grow and perhaps give them a big trim and prune in a week and see if they can stretch their way out of trouble. To cut the corrugated plastic sheet I first sliced it so that it was 160mm deep, then I could align the base of the cardboard cut to the right size, to draw the sides, then flip the cardboard upside down to draw the next side, this way all pieces align really well. The card is 245mm on the base, 160mm deep, and the base angles are 66.6 degrees.

The lower branches on all three are twisted, deformed and also mutated, the stem is fat, and worse yet, the biggest and best plant turned out to be a male, and I don't mean it hermed, it has no early single pistils like the other two and is covered everywhere with cajones. I didn't even notice till I wondered why the top buds look a bit like they are going into flower. So that is a massive huge disappointed. Not only is the structure not very good but there is a male plant. I removed all the mutated branches which was the first three sets on one and two sets on the other. As a result of this I will have to begin my next run early, and I'll be choosing something safe, (I hope) a Grape Deebo. Otherwise the new panels for the Eazyplug Pyramids work great, they let the roots die off while keeping the algae down.

The small one is staying very stumpy, but the larger one is improving. I have bended the stems as much as I can to try and open them out. Nutrient strength has been reduced as this strain seems very sensitive to nutes. I have 3 Grape Deebo at a week old to make up for the poor performance of Blue Power, will put them up tomorrow.

This week went pretty well as expected, the runt is as runty as ever, I have exposed as much inner branches as I can, this will be maybe 1/2oz but they both have a very high density covering of trichomes. The larger one, is till tiny but not a runt, there are a lot of branches so it should look quite pretty when all frosted up. Very fine pistils on these maybe the finest I've ever seen. (fine as in thin)

Frosting up heavily as expected, meaty leaves as expected, larger one is nearly 15" so that almost tall enough to be called 'small'. the little runt looks like it will be one large knotty ball of juice. I have been going my best to keep bending these apart, but the smaller one is too strong to do any more with.

Looks like nothing much is happening except the fan leaves dying, but looking back on last week I can see they are maturing. They are going to have to come down next week when the good leaves start dying because I'm going to need the room although if they do look like they might get a bit plumper I can give them a home on the edge of the tent, such is the flexibility of leaving on side of the tent open.

Necrosis of older leaves has stopped and upper leaves are still holding on gradually beginning to fade as buds are starting to fatten up. I think I can go for another week. I have planted my final two Blue Power both in Mini Pyramids which I will begin a diary for next week. These are far and away the frostiest buds I've ever seen, with beautiful subtle colouring. The stigmas are turning a tan brown and the edges of the leaves are going purple giving an overall bluish look, very pretty. Smell is minty and earthy with some pine.
