Wife's First Grow

Week 2 underway and she's developing accordingly. Everything is in the soil so we continue to just let her sip from the reservoir thru the wicks. I'm still misting the top of the soil to make sure she's getting enough to drink.

On to another week. She seems happy and the sip container is keeping her watered in her amended soil bed. We're getting to the fun time period for autoflowers so I expect to see a ton of growth in the coming couple weeks!

Pre flowering has begun and she's all bent up to take advantage of the stretch and see if we can improve the yields of this micro grow. She's definitely strong and becoming increasingly gassy as well. I told ya the good times were coming soon and here they are.

Flower season is upon us... The LST has continued and she's bouncing back with every bend and twist. Very promising look to the plants growth. She seems happy with the amended soil and the addition of CalMag+, so we seem to be good to go on this one.

Continuing to progress as she should, lots of white hairs and a little stretch from the lowers making a lovely canopy. Just staying on course with pH 6.0 water and letting the soil blend fuel her flowering fury!!! Should be another solid week, were now on the lookout for some trichome development!

This one's been a breeze... The wife's following the book word for word and the plant is doing what I was sowed to do... Just a little cal mag in the pH 6 water and she's living her best life. More and more pistils are popping and the bud sites are all stretching to even out the canopy. Good genetics and proper care... Can't wait to see what the effects of this lady are as the stem rub has a skunk and earthy smell that just gives you an old skool vibe. I expect her to really start to stack up this week and then begin swelling those calyxes through to the end!

Another week of this lady flexing hard! Looks like she's done stretching and is now on to body building, hopefully she packs on some pounds in the next month or so... Smells and frost are coming on and she's just rolling along. I expect another strong week upcoming.

She's really frosting up and the main bud is swelling up beautifully. Still just filling the water every couple days and letting her sip, making sure I add a bit of CalMag+ to keep her up on all her needs. May drop in a little bud explosion this week to push a little PK boost and see if we can turbocharge these calyxes! She's also blushing a beautiful shade of pink in there as well to add to the ambiance. This is top notch genetics at play here.

Another lovely week in the books. The smell is starting to come on now. You can see the trichomes are really coating the buds, she's super sticky. I've cut back the nitrogen to try to minimize the yellowing of the leaf tips as nitrogen has been high this entire grow from the soil mix, which was heavy with bat guano. I'd say she's going to run til the end of the month and should be all set and cured for a summertime smoke sesh at the beach.

Another week down and we're starting to see her really finish fattening up, not to mention layering up on the trichomes. She's got a nice sweet smell. My organic soil blend has kept her well fed and I feel the supplements from Greenleaf Nutrients has pushed her past how well a typical one gallon autoflower would typically perform. That's a testament to good genetics and my wife's dedication to staying on top of what needs to be done daily to keep things going.

She's still chugging along and filling out... Added some Plagron Green Sensation to push a little extra nutrition for the final phase of flowering. I don't see any amber or even cloudy trichomes at this point so I'll continue to let her go along and see where we end up in another week. Definitely a solid genetics and the wife has certainly kept up on caring for this little lady.

Although this grow has come to an end. Many great memories of my wife getting her hands dirty and sharing an interest was pretty cool. I wish I had a teacher as good as me when I got started 😂
