Both phenos are coming on nicely. I'll uppot them to a 10-15L pot today. I haven't added any feed other than master root + Enzymes. Both are moving quickly so before they stress and flip early I will put them into a nice big pot and try get some nice phenos. I'll have to add both of them together. Day 6 1/5th/2 Uppoted to a 20L pot both came from 2L straight into hole. Very little stress and they're going into a similar substrate mix also. 18hrs later 1/5th/25 Both are coming back to life and seem to be adjusting to their new home happily. Added a 100ml of silica to help with any shock and strengthen the cores. Ph'ed from 9.1 to 6.8 16th Day 16 both autos are pushing hard now. In a 20L pot growing at a fair pace. More coming this week. 20th Day 20 moving along nicely. Both are extremely healthy and growing at a fair pace. Look forward to seeing how big theu get before flipping. I don't think they'll veg much more than 4-5 days before throwing out stigmata. . Day 21 Plants are moving along nicely. There is a pigment mutation other than that they've got no issues. Both autos are nicely spaced apart and the pot holds 10L of grow mix. I've been adding calmag, master root (every 2x a week). Enzymes & now Silica. 1st grow from Herbies is doing well. I've 2 seeds in a 20L pot. Grandmommy Purple Auto. I'll allow them to keep growing as they are and before they go into preflower I'll sink to bamboo shoots and make a 180 V and grow them apart. Winding the main stems up the bamboo shoots and I'll sink a few in the middle (1 straight & a 180 V) poles later in the grow to pull any nodes into the the middle of the pot and outer parts also. I've done a similar grow this way before with 3 strains but these are much faster, bigger autos & I will need to maximise every area I can to allow a full finished even grow for both autos. Will be also starting 2 apple betties cbds in the same way in a few weeks. Day 24 in this pic and as you can I did some light definition (10% or so on each plant). I'm making sure not to stress them so not to force them Into an unnatural flip but also need to make sure both autos can get as much light where it's needed or not allowing them to out-shadow each other. If it gets bad before the stretch while pre flower starts I will LST the main nodes and tie them apart using bamboo as discribed above. Hoping to just leave them for the next week but let's see. No more defols will be done until I see they're preparing to flip which will be this week by looking at them Days 25-27 Plants are pushing on a rapid pace. The biggest is JUST getting ready to go into PRE STRETCH before full preflower. I took a gamble by taking more of the bigger fan leaves off. (I only took leaves under fully developed nodes with their own growing fans). Making sure not to stress them. Are pretty good autos. 3.5-4 weeks of good growing. No early flippers. Have 2 close together. But they're growing well. Before they stretch I've added 1 bamboo shoot in a / and folded the main stem behind the bamboo making sure it grows up it. Grow is going great. The bigger pheno has taken to the bamboo shoots really well & now both plants are growing really well. Coming into preflower without a care in the world. Days 29-32 2nd/2/ Growth is steady. I really haven't done anything differently so there's not much to report on. Keeping the feed ppm steady & I haven't touched anything LST or any defols. I haven't had the need. It'll do a good amount of stretching over the next few days. I haven't switched to bloom feed yet. Maybe in a few days. 3rd/3 Day 33 Growing like nothing in her way. Moving like a pair of mad women. Added 500ml of Master Root/Enzymes/Calmag ph'ed to 6.9, little higher than I'd like but I wasn't wasting a mix for a point out of what I normally give. 5th/2 day 35 Wow, just blow away by the growth in 2 days. DAMN Herbies got it going DOWN. She has one or 2 blemishes. Still learning the nutrients. With these you can only improve the more you use, I'd she'll easily put on another 20-25cm for each plant. Growth is just going amazing. Both phenos are doing just astounding. I'm overall delighted with these genetics. Days 35-37 Growth is going amazing as you can see. When preflower stops. I'll move it under a 300w light from mars-hydro. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I have moved over to giving bloom now. She is showing light mag issue so I added Xpert Nutrients Calmag and have been feeding the 20L pot without it fully drying up. I love soil growing. Day 38-39 She's pushing on at an alarming rate. I did not plan for it to be these big. They're going to get 50-100% bigger. So, it's not necessarily their size now. But in 3 weeks. I need to start using IR in my flower tent to push my fems into high gear. Adding 2hrs of extra light should easily cut days to a week depending where they are. Got to also becareful as if I add IR to anything in preflower it'll stretch like crazy. So, im at least 5 days or so before my flower tent will have no preflowering plants just all girls into heavy flower. This plant will STAY away from any IR 730nm for at least another 2-3 weeks. So, she'll do all her preflower under the p1000, which will be an issue in itself. Day 40-42 Took her down to separate her as they're far to close, to big and too many shoots not to do anything will only set the mid-lower parts back weeks during the flower process. I did do some very very light lollipopping at the very ends. The shoots were the smallest. And removed their fans obviously. That's the only defol I've done more or less over this ENTIRE grow. Which is very rare for me not to remove some leaves. With autos, you really shouldn't. Some can take it & still do well. But left alone. And good lighting/airflow throughout the plants. Has really made a huge difference. I separated them as best I could with as minimal stress as possible. It'll take a few hours to look all pretty again when she settles. She'll look really good. No HST/Defols done in any major way. Left it all. And just let them do their thing. Working with it, the smell is LOVELY like a black berry smell. Is absolutely lovely scent she's giving off. But, she is a good candidate for stealth growing. Only when she's worked on does she pong. And you have to be close to smell it. Day 42 and she's doing AMAZING. Really happy to see both phenos looking beautiful & separated really well. Hoping she'll push through pre flower in the next 10-12 days.
