So this is a new run in a new Gorilla 4x8. 1800 watts total mixed lights. I will be running 4 photos and 9 autos as I like to have a nice long veg, take clones for my 2x4 and like a variety of strains. I inherited some older beans that just would not pop so I decided to use some rockwool and voila. The star of this run is going to be the Dark Owl Bruce Banner 3, Barney’s farm Gelato and Dojo Seed Co. Dark Dojo I also have some random ILGM auto/photo seeds that I will be using for the rest of the strains.
Have only watered it once, but she’s growing as well as expected for week 1. Roots have nearly encompassed the pot. Will be doing first transplant into 1 gallon pot on Day 14.
She got her first up-pot/transplant from initial seedling container into a 1 gallon pot exactly 2 weeks after germination on Day 14 of life. Continues to receive Great White Myco with every watering. On day 21, fed initial dose of Recharge and Green Aminos at 1/4 tsp per gallon. Week 3 should be TAKE OFF! Sitting under 2xViparSpectra XS4000. 48” above canopy at 50% power. Receiving ~630PPFD at that height and setting. I’ve had these lights stunt a grow from being hung too low. So I hung them same height as my HLG600rspec on the other side of this Gorilla 4x8, but turned them up to 50% intensity. I am pumping a total of +|- 3% 1800W in this 4x8x7.
Officially started week 3. She looks great all around and is really taking off! I’m definitely taken back by how “heavy” this lady smells at such a small size. Hoping for some super DANK and GASSY nugs. I will be growing her out to the max in this 1 gallon pot. The next UP-pot will be into a 3 gallon. I never feed my girls until 4-5 weeks in its finishing container. Will keep you guys posted. She got a full drink of water with half dose of Recharge, SuperKelp, Great White and Mikrobs on 12/22/2024, 500ml. Then 500ml of just pure Micron Filtered water on 12/26/2024
This rounds out week 3 and all I can say is she is smelly and THICK.
So it is officially Day 28, start of week 4. This girl has been EXTREMELY STINKY since her 2nd set of leaves, a trait I have learned will generally yield some GASSY and DANK flower. I decided to remove all the fan leaves but the last 2 all the way at the top. The goal is to have all the internodes turn into multiple branches that can be clipped and cloned. No issues so far. Will keep everyone posted. I also applied some LST clips to the lower internode offshoots.
Week 5 was pretty eventful. I noticed she started to droop overall and figured it must be time to repot as it has been in a 1 gal from solo cup for 3 weeks. I uppoted to a 2 gal. When I pulled her out what do you know, roots galore. She recovered within 2 days as last repot. I waited until day 40 and did a heavy defoliation as I am trying a new method of HST this round. We’ll see where it goes. I must say I am Enjoying the grow so far.
