1st auto grow - RQS Northern Lights & Royal Cheese

Filled the reservoir with a 10L solution @ 0.6EC on the 10th day. PPFD @ 200~ on canopy level. Despite RH at the tent being so low, I've been keeping the dome on them and spraying every now and then some water to help raise the RH.

Girls are looking good, even N. Lights #2 that had the little incident is showing good progress, so I’ll keep her for now. Finally been able to dial in the environment with the addition of the Controller 69 Pro, temps are at 23 to 27 °C and RH from 60 to 65% Lights are at full height, dimmed to 100% and set to a 20/4 cycle. No new feed yet, aiming to change the reservoir this weekend. EDIT: 01/02 - Changed reservoir to 15L solution with Flora trio at 2/3 of recommended dosage.

Explosive growth this week, specially R. Cheese #1 and N. Lights #1. But both #2’s are also growing strongly and looking great. Mixed a 15L solution at full strength, will be looking for any deficiencies in the next few days.

D24 - 10/02/2025 Last week was really good, none of the girls showed any signs of toxicity after the full strength feed, which is good. I’m already seeing signs of pre-flowering on some of the girls, next week for sure we enter flower mode. Applied some LST to the girls and some defoliation. Fan leaves were taking a lot of space, now internal nodes should have more light to use. Not going too crazy on this though. Unfortunately snapped a branch of Northern Lights #1 while applying the LST, must take extra care next time. Still haven’t changed the reservoir, should do that later this week. — D27 - 13/02/2025 Changed the reservoir and mixed nutrients for pre-flower. I’ve been adjusting the LST, but other than that there’s not much of an update. Girls are looking really great and growth is exploding. PPFD is around ~500 on canopy level. — D28 - 14/02/2025 Did another defoliation session. Went a bit more heavy this time. Now we let them recover for a few days.

D33 - 19/02 Haven’t changed the reservoir this week yet. A few burnt tips on Northern Lights #2, will probably go a little lighter on nutes next feed - she’s definitely more sensitive to them than the other ones. Overall great looking girls and nice growth. The #2’s are higher than the #1’s, nodes developing nicely and the scrog is definitely helping with lateral growth as well. — D35 Mixed a new reservoir with roughly 19L, at around 70% strength. pH 6.0 and EC 1.1 Humidity has risen a bit, so I installed the dehumidifier again. Apparently the tip burning has stopped, or at least slowed, which is good. #1’s are at around 25cm height, while #2’s are around 40cm height. — D36 Did another defoliation session as the girls really needed it. Cleaned a lot of the big fan leaves, airflow and light penetration is way better now. A few hours after and they’re super happy again.

D43 - 01/03 Not much to update this week. Girls are growing super well and bud sites are fattening nicely, no toxicity or deficiency that I have noticed. Mixed a 20L reservoir @ 70% strength on the 26th. -- D45 Mixed a new reservoir on the 3rd. Should've done it yesterday or at least earlier today, but as far as I can tell the girls aren't showing any signs of being dehydrated so we should be alright. Mixed new 20L reservoir @ 70% strength, I'll probably follow with this strength until chop day. Started with B-52 this week as well, a bit of calmag and roots excelurator. I'll do a defoliation session this week too as they're quite packed in the space. Note to self: next time go humbler and run a max of 2 or 3 plants in that setup. Lesson learned!
